Well, we did it again! Today Cyndi and I are wrapping up 20 Days of Winter Fashion. I’m really glad we decided to start early this year, but it’s gonna feel like a year till our spring style series in March!
Never fear, there will be plenty of outfits between now and then, but this is the last post in our winter fashion collab.
This look is one of my fool-proof outfit formulas: oatmeal + denim + leopard = casual chic!
I’m a sucker for a donegal knit, a cowl neck, and raglan sleeves, and this sweater has all three. I picked it up at J.Crew Factory, and it’s definitely one of their better finds this season!
This sweater is soft and comfortable and has a relaxed fit with a slightly longer length and a split hem. It also comes in navy and grey, and for reference, I’m wearing the small.
I paired it with my go-to AG raw hem legging ankle jeans, and then I styled this look with two different pairs of leopard shoes to show the versatility.
Also, Bloomingdale’s just launched their Friends & Family Sale this morning, and they have 25% off a large selection of styles, including these jeans.
They’re also doing the $25 for every $100 you spend Loyallist Power Points offer on almost everything else. This is the best Power Points offer they do, so it’s a great time to take the plunge on a big ticket item that rarely goes on sale. They tend to offer the Power Points on popular products that have staying power like the Sam Edelman Felicia Flats I’m wearing.
These Sam Edelman Felicia flats probably need no introduction. I’ve had them for years, and if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 155 times — these shoes feel like slippers.
They’re my favorites for wearing around the house when I’m not going anywhere but just want my outfit to feel complete. In fact, as I’m typing this, I’m wearing my nude Felicia flats. Both of these are part of the Loyallist Power Points offer at Bloomingdale’s right now — so basically you’ll get a $25 Reward Card if you purchase a pair.
I also wanted to show a more dressed-up version of this look. This is how I like to do a casual date night or get together with friends when I want to turn the style factor up a notch but still be comfortable.
These block heeled pumps are low enough to be walkable but still give you some extra height, and the pointed toe keeps them classy and even a little bit sexy. They also happen to be 25% off at Bloomingdale’s.
Pumps with jeans and a sweater is my favorite way to do a dressed-up casual look, and this oatmeal + denim + leopard combo is pretty much fool-proof.

One of my favorite casual looks! Love it!
Wow where did those 20 days go? Time is flying. I love this combo look and again can’t go wrong with Leopard print:) I do tend to reach for my black sweaters though ( just habit) . Thanks for a great series. Can’t wait to see your latest house updates.
Have a great weekend
My kind of outfit. LOVE it.
BINGO! This is how I love to dress for my everyday style.
Another great style series, JoLynne! I enjoyed your Instastories. The house is looking beautiful. Like you, I was a little concerned with the living room rug, but when it went into place…everything came together. Thank you for sharing that part of your life too. I’m learning with you!
Why I love your blog casual elegance!
That’s a really cute casual outfit. The leopard shoes really give it some interest. I used to have a sweater that was very similar and then when pants all went to the low waist, I finally got rid of the sweater because it was too short. Now that the waistlines are higher again, I’m really wishing I had kept the sweater.
Perfect outfit formula, right here. My leopard flats really need to be replaced…the toe is so worn. I guess you could say I love them. HA! I’ve yet to get leopard heels, but look at them all.the.time. I need to just pull the trigger. Happy weekend!!!
Great outfit and look on you! Could you wear a long necklace to add interest without adding conflict? I have a leopard print handbag instead of shoes. What color shoe would you suggest to keep the outfit looking complete? Today is a weather transition day for us – very cloudy, cool now, but warming up later. We could have severe weather tomorrow, but it will be the start of rain for 3 days before the cold weather returns. Have a great day!
You have picked out some beautiful pieces here. I love this paired back style when each item is such a good pick! xx Maria

I love those leopard pumps! Great outfits!
Oh, I’m So excited for your family room reveal. Like you, I doubted the decision to buy the oversized ottoman, so seeing this all come together will be enlightening.
Ha! I bought a donegal turtleneck in those colours yesterday. I’m just waiting for it to get cold enough to wear it. Love both pairs of leopard shoes! I’ve yet to find the perfect pair that fit my narrow feet but I’ll keep looking. I believe a leopard shoe is a classic not a passing trend.
I just popped over to Instagram. Your floors look great, love your new lamps and mirror, and the rug is perfect for a family room filled with teenagers. I think a wood end table would look better than the glass & medal. It seems more airy than the other. I would pick a different one that compliments the other but is not an exact matching. It’s exciting to follow along on your journey in decorating your new home, I hope you don’t mind us speaking our minds?
I love the leopard pumps! Definitely a fool proof outfit formula!
xo,
Kellyann
This is so my style and you look great in this outfit! I normally wear flats, but love those heels and am going to give them a try! Have a wonderful weekend!
I can see why this is your foolproof outfit—the sweater, jeans, bag, and especially those leopard-print shoes are all perfect!

I love this look. And, I now love J.Crew Factory! Because i have seen so many great, affordable items from there on your blog, it was the first store I went to yesterday (and my favorite) on my shopping trip at our regional Tanger Outlet that is 3 hrs away. I bought this sweater in grey. It is very warm and looks great. I’m looking forward to some cold weather to show it off. I live in a rural area with very limited local shopping, reading your blog has helped me keep in tune with great brands and current styles. Thanks for all you do!
Love this outfit with the leopard shoes. Great winter series! The only good thing about winter – cute outfits, ha!
