I hope everyone is enjoying this soggy Labor Day. We have concert tickets tonight, so we are planning to bring out all the rain gear. I’m wishing now more than ever that I’d invested in some cute rain boots, but whatchagonnado? I guess I won’t melt, right??
Here’s our menu plan for this week. I hope it inspires you!
MONDAY: We’ll be going out to dinner tonight and ordering pizza for the kids, but if we were entertaining, our menu would look something like this: Labor Day Menu
TUESDAY: Beef Brisket, oven roasted potatoes and fresh greens from the CSA (whatever they’ve got… we’ll probably saute it)
WEDNESDAY: BBQ Chicken, Tomatoes, Mozzarella and Basil Salad, black beans and rice
THURSDAY: Zucchini Frittata with a salad
FRIDAY: Buffalo Burgers (picked them up at the Farmer’s Market) with blue cheese on top, fresh cut-up veggies from the CSA and chips
SATURDAY: Lamb Meatballs from Divine Health (trying a new recipe) with Zucchini Cakes (recipe to come!)
What are you eating this week?

Happy Labor Day weekend, hope you’ve been enjoying it 🙂
I stopped by earlier, but your linky wasn’t up yet. I thought maybe you were taking a ‘Ciesta’ in lieu of Labor Day LOL. Glad I dropped by again 🙂 Have a terrific week! I’m sharing a simple twist to traditional cornbread this week.

Awww…I have cute rain boots, and it never rains here! I know we’re still months away from any rain. It’s good for the farmers, but I really miss it.
I need to add that tomato, mozzarella and basil salad to the mix more often. Looks delicious! Thanks for hosting the link-up!
i want to come to your house for dinner 🙂
