Holiday Gift Guide: Gift Basket Ideas

I’m winding down on the gift guides, but I thought it might be fun to round up some gift basket ideas.

A gift basket is an easy present to put together last minute, and it doesn’t break the bank, but it takes some time and thought to put together. Whether you’re gifting to a family member, friend, or neighbor, I’ve put together 5 gift basket guides to help inspire you.

Self Care Holiday Gift Basket

This spa-themed gift basket is perfect for holiday gift-giving or for any occasion when you need a fun gift for the girly-girl in your life. This basket has everything she needs to relax and feel pampered.

Whether she does her own nails or goes to a salon, she will love these hand and foot masks and this intensive heel therapy. And if she does like to do her own mani/pedi, she can choose from fifteen colors in this Nicole Miller polish set. I made sure to include a nail polish remover so she can take her nail polish off when the manicure wears off. These wipes are great since they are an all-in-one. Also, every woman needs this cuticle oil. I use it every night.

I’ve also included one of my favorite self-tanners, which makes it easy to get the perfect glow in your home, and some face masks to take the pampering to the next level.

Men’s Holiday Gift Basket

This gift basket is for the men in your life. I’ve tried to include items that would be useful for men no matter what their interests, like this toiletry kit, a new phone charger, and these great no show socks. (Bombas are the best!)

Men need self-care too, so I added a few items like this groom on the go set so the man in your life can look and feel his best.

Plus, this mini trash can is perfect for your man’s car or golf cart. These deodorizing sneaker balls are perfect for the fitness enthusiast, and if he’s handy, he will  love this clever bracelet that holds screws, drill bits, nails, etc. I also included a few fun items like this game and these great in-car sauce holders.

Coffee & Tea Gift Basket

If you have a coffee or tea lover in your life, this one is for you! Of course, they need something to drink out of so the first thing you should include is a mug or cup of some kind. I included this hydroflask coffee mug that’s great for anyone, but you could also personalize your basket by including a mug with a funny or endearing quote that’s unique to your recipient. Zulily has tons of those types of mugs and to-go containers.

Then add their favorite tea or coffee, or give them something new to try. For tea drinkers, you can include this spiced chai set or this set of six loose teas. For coffee drinkers, you can’t go wrong with this Manhattan Blend or this Kainaliu Kona Farms Coffee.

To complete your basket and add a little bit of fun, add a few tea/coffee themed fun items like this coffee break candle, steaming mug ornament, or coffee inspired nail polish.

Kitchen Gadget Gift Basket

A kitchen basket is an easy gift to put together for the person in your life who loves to cook. This is perfect for the holidays, or it also makes a fabulous wedding or house warming gift.

I included some staple items like this utensil set, these magnetic measuring spoons, and this knife set. And of course, I had to include everyone’s favorite Always Pan! Also, how fun is this donut maker?

Tea towels and oven mitts are a great way to make your basket feel full and personal, especially if you know what color your basket recipient’s kitchen decor is. You can also add in fun touches like this mixer ornament and these adorable nutcracker appetizer plates.

There are so many other things you could add to a kitchen themed basket that I could write about it for an entire post. You could add an apron, cookbook, jams, honeys, cooking sauces, wine glasses, and so much more!

Movie Night/Night-In Gift Basket

For the person who enjoys a relaxing night at home, you can’t go wrong with a movie night basket!

Simply add something cozy that you would want to curl up in to watch your favorite movie like this pair of pajamas or this comfy fleece hoodie. Don’t forget the fuzzy socks and a self-care item like this face mask to really take the relaxation to the next level!

What’s the point of a movie night if you can’t cuddle up with a warm blanket? I added two great ones to the list. I also included my favorite silk pillowcase.

The great thing about 2021 is that everyone has all of their favorite movies at their fingertips with all of the great streaming services available, so you can just focus on adding some yummy snacks and games like this trivia one  to your movie night basket.

And of course every movie night requires popcorn. I added in some fun popcorn items like this great popper, this popcorn sample pack, and these reusable popcorn bowls. If the basket recipient is a sweets lover, add in this chocolate gift pack.

I hope these gift basket guides have inspired you to create a one of a kind gift for your friends and family members. If you’re still looking for last minute gifts, be sure to check out my other holiday gift guides.

  1. I love the idea of themed gift baskets and you went above and beyond with great ideas!! Thank you!
Glad you arrived home safe and sound. We drove home to South Jersey from the Boston area just this past Monday and we almost got off a wrong exit in CT. It’s a crazy drive, that’s for sure. (we made an extra side-trip to Brooklyn to add to the craziness!) HAHA! I hope your daughter is making some cinnamon buns soon!

  2. I totally understand the driving with your kid thing. I get nervous even watching them pull out of the driveway! No way could I relax when they were in the drivers seat!

  3. Wow!!!! Great post and great ideas for sure. Glad you made it home safe and sound and I don’t blame you for wanting to drive home most the way. I never was good at being the passenger with a new driver. I don’t know what that drive is like, but I can imagine. I like your idea your friend does. One of my friends does the same thing. She’s already stayed in a hotel by herself to recharge twice this year. I think you should do it. You could still get your work done, since you are working from home and still have time to get away alone to recharge. What a fun tradition to start. I’m sure your family would benefit too. Nothing better than a happy wife/mom. LOL Have a great time with Caroline home.

  4. So many options, great ideas! Gonna have to order the popcorn popper, would be much easier than my old timey metal popper with the glass lid. We like it with real butter melted over it and white kernel popping corn which seems easier to eat. Glad your trip went well, enjoy having all your family home together!
