It’s Sunday, and time for Instagram Recap! This week has been full of holiday festivities, and I’ve already shared a bit about our celebrations, but here’s my week in Instagram clips.
This is what I wore to church last week.
The poncho is old, but I haven’t tired of it yet. I used to wear it with red jeans and a black tee underneath, but my red jeans went to the thrift store last fall so now I wear it with a red tee and black leggings. These are actually lined skinny pants that I got from Goodnight Macaroon a few years ago. I absolutely love them because they have a nice fit, and they are so warm. I wish I could find something similar to link you to, but they’re long gone, and I haven’t seen anything like them since.
I was asked recently what lipstick I wear. I usually wear Sonia Kashuk Satin Luxe Lipstick in Rosebud over a neutral lip liner. And I usually put a frosty pink gloss overtop so it’s not so matte. The gloss came with a nude lip palette and isn’t sold separately, so I’m not much help there.
I posted this shot of our family room “kids’ tree” one night as I was relaxing on the couch, enjoying the view.
I shared this picture of my sweater dress outfit as a sneak peek of the post I published this week. You can get the full outfit details here.
I ordered this gorgeous wool plaid scarf when I saw another fashion blogger wearing it. It is stunning in person and very good quality. I wasted no time putting it together with an outfit. I really want over-the-knee grey boots with this outfit, but I’m trying to decide if I can justify that purchase. I need to be sure I have other things to wear them with. For now, this is the best I could do.
Details: Wool Blend Scarf in Pink/Orange/Ivory on sale for $59.99 + 40% off with SHOPNOW
Chelsea28 Turtleneck Sweater on sale for 49.90 (size down)
DL1961 Florence (Milk) $178 (option: Emma on sale for $118)

My Stella & Dot Maylee Ring $29 | Nails: CND Creekside
I took this picture as I was preparing to wrap presents one afternoon while the kids were in school.
And this is the outfit I wore out to dinner on Christmas Eve. It was almost 70 degrees, so I dressed light in my Lush tunic, jeans and boots. The necklace is from J.Crew Factory, but it isn’t on their website, unfortunately.
Details: Lush Roll-Tab Sleeve Tunic on sale for $25 (I’m wearing a medium)
similar skinnies $179 (I got mine on a mega sale; don’t pay full price)
similar wedge boots on sale $119
similar necklace (or this is a nice option for $13) | perforated clutch $75
bracelets c/o Alex and Ani: Garnet Retro Glam Wrap, Gleam Beaded Bangle, Rich Wine Enigma Wrap, assorted Bangle Bars
This was Christmas morning when I was waiting for the kids to wake up. I thought it made a fun shot.
These are the softest pajama pants I’ve EVER had, and they’re only $12. I’ve worn them every night since I got them. I didn’t even realize they said “Meowy Christmas” until my daughter noticed, lol. I chose them because I like how they coordinate with my slippers.
The slippers were sent to me from Abeo. They are lined with genuine shearling (so cozy!) AND they have built-in orthotics, which is PERFECT for my war-torn feet. The nail polish is Zoya in Blaze.
We snapped this outfit picture with my iPhone as we were leaving for Christmas brunch with my inlaws so the photo quality leaves a bit to be desired. You get the idea.
Details: dolman top via Stitch Fix | AG Ankle Legging Jeans $188 (I got mine 25% off)
similar leopard flats $119 | similar MK tote $198 (again, got mine on sale, lol!!)
D Yurman Cable Classics with Gold & Belmont Curb Link Ring
S&D Arabesque Link Necklace $89
After brunch with the in-laws, we came home and napped the afternoon away. I don’t know why I was so tired. We had a pretty low-key Christmas this year. We were all in our jammies early, and after we cleaned up the aftermath, the girls posed by the tree for this picture with the stuffed giraffe that was my 10-year-old’s big Christmas gift this year.
I shared this cozy outfit late in the day yesterday. I’ll be posting full details later this week, but for now, the sweater is on sale for $32 and selling fast. Admittedly, not the most flattering shape, but so cozy and easy to throw on with jeans and sneakers.
Details: Cable Front Sweater on sale for $32 (also comes in ivory and rose brown)
DL1961 Emma Legging Jeans $178 (I got mine on sale; hold out!)
Converse Shoreline $49 (also bought on sale)
Silpada Half Moon Earrings $79
Finally, I posted this from She Reads Truth this morning.
What a glorious day that will be, am I right??
I hope you have a lovely Sunday! After church, we are hosting Christmas for 25. I still have some preparations to see to before we leave this morning, so I better get crackin’! Enjoy your day!

Love the pj pants & what a great price! I may have to order some. We are doing our Christmas tonight, so if I get $, I plan on buying a pair of Converse sneaks. Love your style.
I want the sweater, but I don’t wear 100% acrylic that often, so I need to think on it. I love the pj bottoms also & that is a great price. I hope after the party this afternoon, you will be pleased with how everything went! Have a blessed day!
I got theCotton Emporium sweater in rose brown. I already have a ton of grey and I don’t ever wear white or ivory since I have a 5 year old son and teach fifth grade! Can’t wait to wear it, it was near 80 yesterday in East Texas, but the high tomorrow is only 47!
Your plates on your wall look like mine I won Cindy Crawford ‘s Holiday collection a few years back and I display them every New Years as my tablescape check out here http://paticlark.blogspot.com/2011/12/i-won-cindy-crawford-style-holiday.html

My 9 yr old son received the same giraffe for Christmas!
