Just wish I didn’t hate the jet plane so much.
My family has received some sad news. My grandfather, who has lived a long and full life, and who had been suffering with the aftereffects of a stroke, passed away yesterday. My family is gathering in Virginia, and I’m flying out this afternoon to be with them.
I’ll be back on Monday.

Well, I blinked and Spring Break is over! 🌴 Delray is beautiful. I hope to come back sometime when I can enjoy it more.
We did get down to the beach for a few hours yesterday. 🏖️ It was a challenge in The Boot but I managed. We spent the other days in a cabana by the serenity pool. And now it’s homeward bound! ✈️

I’m so sorry for your loss. I just spoke with my Grandaddy on the phone yesterday – he kept teasingly (sorta) reminding me how old he is and how he’s not going to be around much longer and I told him to STOP SAYING THAT. When I got off the phone, I was kindof laughing but then I thought how hard it’s going to be to actually lose him. I’ll keep you and your family close in prayer this weekend. Have a safe trip.

I’m so very sorry. The only bright side is hopefully you’ll get to see some family members that you haven’t seen for a while and gain strength and comfort from that. I’m thankful he isn’t suffering any longer and is peacefully with the Big Man – hopefully in a big, ole, comfy recliner!
