Hello and happy FRIDAY! Who has fun weekend plans? Our weekend is gloriously open, and that is just fine with me because the next few weekends are packed. Hopefully we’ll get to the pool a few times, and we’ll probably grill out if the weather cooperates.
I also want to tell y’all that the stripe pullover from yesterday’s post has been restocked in all sizes (at least for the moment) so if you wanted one, grab it now. Returns are super easy at Nordstrom so if you’re on the fence, just get it and decide for sure after you try it on, but I think you’ll love it.
Also, a few weekend sales of note. Tory Burch is having her semi-annual sale. Use code EXTRA30 to get an additional 30% off the sale prices. I rounded up some handbag recommendations on my Facebook Page and I’m noticing a few are already sold out so act fast if you want something. Also, DL1961 is having a sitewide 30% off sale (use code DL4th) and I’m working on a roundup for that!
So today I’m styling a mint jeans outfit that I wore to church a few weeks ago… or maybe it was last week. I swear, everything is running together these days.
Mint jeans seem to have taken a backseat to pink this season, but I still enjoy wearing mine. These jeans are old and there are only a few sizes left, but these Kut from the Kloth are similar.
I paired my mint skinnies with this ivory mixed stitch sweater that I styled with blue jeans during my spring style series. (You can see that post here.) Fortunately this sweater is still in stock! It’s hard to find white and ivory tops that aren’t see-through so I love that this sweater has a built-in under layer. Unfortunately it is not included in their sale tops, but it will probably go on sale eventually.
I love these shoes and bag, but they’re both from last season. So sorry! I did link to some similar ones below.
Finally, I accessorized with these mosaic earrings and matching necklace. The outfit is pretty simple so I wanted jewelry that is eye-catching but not so bold as to overwhelm the muted color palette. This set is perfect with this. I also added a few Alex and Ani beaded bangles.
I think this color palette with the ivory and mint and cognac shoes and bag is so pretty. Colored jeans are supposedly going out of style, but I think they’re fun for a change and I hope they stick around a while.
Lucky Brand mixed stitch sweater // Paige Verdugo mint skinnies (similar for less) // similar hobo // similar wedge sandals (use SAVE40 for 40% off) // Stella & Dot Tala earrings and necklace // beaded bangles c/o Alex and Ani // nails: CND Winterglow and Zoya Demetria
Be sure to visit Cyndi and see the summer outfit she’s styling today!
And it’s Friday, so that means linkup day! If you have a fashion blog, I’d love for you to join us. If you’re here for your weekly dose of style inspiration, you’ll find plenty of that here. Have a beautiful weekend!

That would be fun! Yellow is such a happy color.
Thank you for the heads up on FB yesterday about the Tory Burch sale. I snagged 2 pair of shoes and a lovely handbag.

Happy Friday! You look beautiful and I love that I can always count on reading your post early. I enjoy it with my morning coffee and it’s a great way to get my day started, so thank you! I have the Stella and Dot necklace on my wish list for my birthday next month ☺️
Thank you, Gloria! Here’s hoping you open a present with that necklace in it next month. 🙂
Too bad they are not still making those wedges, such a classic simple style that look really comfy!
They are very comfy. They carried them for two summers so I guess they’re done but they’re great shoes. I wish they had become one of their staples like the Miller sandals and Minnie travel flats. 🙂
Very pretty outfit! If you learn that the top is on sale. I’d love to get one. I think it is a versatile piece that I’ll be able to wear year round down here. Have an awesome weekend! Hopefully, your son will ‘talk’ about his week!

Pretty outfit! That top is something I could pretty much wear year round, so I hope it goes on sale. Enjoy your relaxed weekend!
I’ll keep an eye on it! 🙂
Thank you! I kept getting an error message saying my comment was a duplicate, so I didn’t think they posted, thus the repeats. ????
LOL, sometimes if you post it, and it is slow to load, you click SEND again, and then it tells you it is a duplicate because it already got the first one, it is just still loading. Usually when i get a message that it is a duplicate, it is already in there and just takes a little time to show up. (This has happened to me on my blog and other blogs so I think it’s a WordPress thing.)
Any-WHO. No worries! 🙂 🙂
I have to echo what Gloria says about your post always coming in early. I always know it will be there when I’m having my coffee and it’s great to start my day with inspiration from your blog. I’m afraid that my closet is a carbon copy of yours because I love your outfits and buy so many of your recommendations! You look gorgeous again today! Your hair looks especially fabulous! Thanks for all your hard work. I really appreciate what you do!
Awww, thank you! xo
I hope colored jeans never go out of style – I think they are a great staple for any wardrobe and a great way to have a nice pop of color. I really like that top as well (the double layer is a great feature). Enjoy your vacation and relaxation time!
Beautiful color palette! Love those minty jeans!

It’s all cute, but I love the wedges and bag!
Wow! That is so pretty! And that hobo bag is singing my song!
It’s a shame mint isn’t seen so much. They are a great jean you have there. I.hope blush and flame carry over for a couple of years at least . We need to get the wear out our clothes.
Love the mint and ivory together with your gorgeous neutral accessories!

Jo-Lynne, I am loving the mint with the white and tans. So refreshing! Mint is still going strong this season. I have a ton of mint pieces to my boutiques inventory! It is so light and fresh.
Thanks for the link up and have a wonderful weekend.
