Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025: Outfits You’ll Want in Your Closet

Hi friends, and happy Monday! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost here! Icon-level cardholders can start shopping online tonight at 12:01 AM ET (that’s 9:01 PM PT for you lucky West Coasters!), and then it phases in for other Nordy Club levels before opening to the public on July 12.

If you’re unsure when you can shop, I broke down all the key dates and tips in this post. That post also includes my best shopping tips.

If you’re new to the #NSale, this isn’t your typical summer clearance event. It’s a limited-time sale on brand-new arrivals for the upcoming season from some of my favorite brands—Rails, Veronica Beard, Vince, PAIGE, AllSaints, Madewell, MOTHER Denim, and more. (Prices go back to full price on August 4th.)

I love using this sale to stock up on high-quality fall and winter wardrobe staples, and they always sprinkle in a few fun, wear-now pieces to enjoy while we’re still in summer mode. As those of you who’ve been around for a while can attest, my #NSale purchases often show up as regulars in What I Wore Lately throughout the season and beyond.

A Note About My Coverage

In the interest of transparency, I just want to clarify that I shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale just like everyone else. I don’t get any special influencer access or early try-ons, so I’ll be seeing everything in person for the first time when the doors open tomorrow, right alongside other Icon-level shoppers. That means I won’t have my try-on post up until sometime tomorrow night, but I’ll be working all day to pull everything together in time for those of you who start shopping then. Thank you so much for your patience—and your support!

If you enjoy my coverage and plan to shop the sale, the best way to support my content is by clicking through one of my links before checking out. I know there’s a lot of noise around this sale, with so many influencers sharing their picks, and I’m always so grateful when you choose to shop through mine. It helps me keep creating the content you enjoy!

Even if you’re not shopping the sale, I hope you enjoy seeing what’s trending for fall. And if this post isn’t your thing, feel free to scroll on by—I’ll have plenty of other content going up this week that’s not #NSale-related.

One last note: if something you want is sold out, don’t give up. So much comes back in stock as returns roll in over the next few days and weeks. And many of these pieces will be marked down again later in the season. My best advice? Have fun with it, and try not to stress. I’ll keep you posted with fit and sizing tips once I’ve had a chance to try everything on.

Your Fall Outfit Inspiration Starts Here!

In the meantime, I’ve put together a few head-to-toe outfit ideas using pieces from this year’s #NSale preview. Whether you’re shopping for casual everyday looks, workwear, or fun date night pieces, these outfits are chic, versatile, and perfect for transitioning into fall.

  1. That was a very clever way to feature sale items! I have my wish list ready, and my priorities organized. 🙂 Not much for me this year, but the few items I have in mind will be good additions to my wardrobe.

  2. Thank you for your prayers for the families in central Texas. I live about 2 hours away. I’m far from the Guadalupe River but I have seen it. I’ve learned it’s one of the most dangerous rivers. It’s so horrible what has happened. My heart breaks for the families of those missing. It’s unbelievable the rain we’ve gotten in July. Normally we’re worried about a drought. You’re right we need distractions. Otherwise we’d go nuts. Praying and helping with resources is all most of us can do.

    1. We are about two hours away too Terri. It’s just so sad and on our minds constantly. Praying and helping with resources too. We have spent several summers near Canyon Lake around end of June and have seen what it can do when it rains a lot.

  3. Great post and love the ideas! All are cute! The Zella travel outfit is so pretty-especially for travel. Have you tried the top or pants?
Thank you for your prayers for Texas-we are about 2.5 hours from there, it’s very sad. We are praying and donating to rescue and recovery. We typically spend a week near Canyon Lake around the end of June and have witnessed the danger the Guadalupe River can pose.

    1. Praying for the affected families and the surrounding communities! Such a heartbreaking situation. Thanks for the reminder to donate. I usually go thru Samaritan’s Purse in these scenarios, but if you have any recommendations for local charities that are reputable and good at quick responses, please let us know!

  4. Good outfit ideas! Just so you know, the 2 girls rescued from a tree story was not real. Heartbreaking, I know. I live in Texas, and Texas is really hurting now. It is hard to focus on anything else.

    1. Seriously!?!? I am so sorry. I always try to double check anything I say, but I didn’t double check that one because I saw it in several places. I thought it was true.

  5. Thank you for all of the outfit inspirations Jolynne! I think I ask this every year (lol) but I can’t remember. If we add things to our wish list from your links and add to cart on our shopping day, do you get the credit, or do we need to go back through your links again once the sale is live for us?

    1. It depends, but they could time out (I think the expiration window is 24 hours) or get replaced (if you click through from someone else before checking out), so the best way to be sure I get credit is to click through one of my links right before checking out, and stay in the same tab on your browser as you make the purchase. (I think it also works if my link opens in the Nordstrom app.) Thanks so much! I do appreciate the extra step! 🙂 🙂

      1. Good to know! When you say “click thru” one of your links again, does that mean add a new item to the cart via one of your links? Or would it work to just click the Nordstrom link in the “shop” tab?

        1. You should be able to just click thru a link (like the one in the ‘shop’ tab) and check out without adding anything new to your cart. That will refresh the affiliate cookie and make sure I get credit for your purchase when you check out.

  6. What do you think about the Frank & Eileen pieces that are offered in the sale? How is the fit & sizing? Thank you for your great coverage of the sale!

  7. These are great, thank you! I just added some items to my wishlist…which got me thinking…what is the best way for you to get credit? Start over from the links in this post? I’m assuming it won’t work if purchase from my wishlist.
    Thank you!

    1. Thank you, I appreciate you asking! When it comes to affiliate linking, the last link you click is the one that counts. So, if you’d like to support my small business during the #NSale (or anytime!), just click through to the Nordstrom website from my blog before you complete your checkout.

And yes, it does work with the Wist List – you can either add the Wish List items to your cart and then click another Nordstrom link on my blog and check out. Or click a link from my blog to Nordstrom, then click your Wish List and add the items to your cart and check out.

  8. Thank you for
Putting together outfits. I was underwhelmed this year. However, after I saw your outfits out together, I quickly added many pieces to my wish list. Thank you for all of your time and effort. It’s a good distraction from the horrible news in Texas.

  9. What a great idea to help us pull some outfits together. Sometimes it is so hard to imagine how different items might be worn and of course the sale is so overwhelming. This was really helpful!

  10. What a great idea putting these outfit together. To be honest the sale overwhelms me and I think the items always seem the same from years before. Like the booties. Anyway the outfits helps me imagine what I’d buy. lol I plan to shop it just not like the professionals lol.

  11. Thoughts and prayers to TX, just heartbreaking.
Thanks for all the hard work putting this post together. I wish there were some lower heeled cowboy type booties–no longer a fan of higher heels. Finding nice, leather crossbody bags that actually do adjust length by just sliding the strap on the buckle harder and harder to find. I do like the cream/striped sweater in the first section and have marked in wish list. I’m all for 100% cotton sweaters!

  12. Love this round up of sale items.Thank you for sharing and styling everything so beautifully. I’m thinking of finally splurging on a pair of Mother!! I’ve added to my wishlist.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and prayers for Texas. It’s such a tragedy, overwhelming and devastating. God bless those affected and all of the first responders. I’m praying for all as well.
