Summer Travel Essentials with Vuori

** This post is sponsored by Vuori and Collective Voice.

It’s getting down to the wire over here! We leave for Italy in just a few days, and just as I was finalizing my packing list, I received several items from Vuori’s Villa Collection.

They’ve added some new color ways and products, but they’re all new to me, and I cannot believe I didn’t know about this collection before now!

Vuori Sunrise Crop Tank (L) // Vuori Villa Wideleg (S)

These Villa Wideleg Pants are like wearing air. The performance 4-way stretch woven fabric is so soft and breathable, and I love the modern wide leg silhouette.

They have generous front pockets, a wide elastic waistband, and a 30.5″ inseam.

This Pistachio color is so nice for summer, and they also come in Black and a Smoke grey. They run true to size, or size down if in between. I’m wearing a small.

I topped them off with this Sunrise Crop Tank. I ordered a size large so it wouldn’t be too short, and I like the looser fit too.

This tank is made of a moisture-wicking stretch rib knit that moves with you, and it’s thin but not see-through. I’m definitely taking this set with me to Italy! In fact, it’s what I’m planning to wear on the plane.

As much as I love the Villa Wideleg Pants, these Villa Joggers are giving them a run for their money! They’re made of the same silky soft performance stretch fabric, but they have a more athletic fit with the elastic cuff at the ankle.

I can’t tell you how lightweight and soft this material is. I was planning other soft pants for my travel outfit, but I’m definitely wearing these instead.

Not only are they wrinkle-resistant, they will wash and dry super fast, so I can re-wear them when we get to Italy.

I wore the same ribbed tank with these joggers, but they’d also look great with the Sunset Easy Tee. I’ll pack that for Italy, as well.

The Villa Collection also includes a pair of shorts. These are so cool and breezy.

Vuori Sunrise Crop Tank (L) // Vuori Villa Short (S)

They were designed specifically for travel with a relaxed fit, soft elastic waistband, and silk-like fabric. Definitely size down, if in between; I’m wearing the size small in these.

And the last look I want to show you isn’t from the Villa Collection, but this Seabreeze Skirt is super cute and so comfortable.

Vuori Pose Fitted Polo (L) // Vuori Seabreeze Skirt (M)

It’s designed with a breathable performance stretch woven fabric for maximum airflow; and it also has hand stash pockets, a comfortable knit waistband, and a built-in short liner with even more pockets.

This skirt is true to size, or size up if in between; I’m wearing the medium.

I topped it off with this moisture-wicking polo shirt in a stretch rib knit, and I sized up to a large in this one, too. I like to have a little more wiggle room in these stretchy tops.

I love this preppy look for casual errands or resort wear, but the Villa Wideleg Pants and Villa Joggers, along with the Sunrise Crop Tank are definitely going with me to Italy. If you need to update your summer travel wardrobe, I can’t recommend these pieces highly enough.

  1. Is the fabric in this collection the same as the rest of Vuori’s line or more breathable? I love my performance joggers but since they’re a denser knit I only wear them in winter (humid climate probs!). I’ve been hoping Vuori would come out with something more breathable for summer.

  2. I think you’ll be glad you wore the joggers during traveling—long wide-leg pants are a bit of an issue in bathrooms since they can easily drag on the floor during “certain” times (if you know what I mean). I traveled last month & wore some cropped wide leg pants from J Jill on travel day; super comfortable but I had to be careful in bathrooms. As for your trip, I’ve enjoyed hearing about your preparations & seeing what you’re taking. Those water bottles are on my list for future trips! Hope y’all have a fantastic time!

  3. JoLynne, we just left Italy after a week on the Amalfi Coast and in Milan. It is HOT and humid so plan on two outfits a day as you will sweat through them, even performance fabrics. Bring lots of bras and panties as you’ll want fresh ones often. We did laundry which helped. Also, make sure you have good bug spray as the mosquitoes are hungry, especially as the sun sets and you dine outdoors. I hope you have a great trip! Italy is amazing!

    1. Cute cute outfits! My daughter and I have, and love, the villa shorts. Are the villa joggers the same fabric?

  4. I can only wear long pants in summer if I am going to be in air condition room. There’s no way I could wear long pants in 100 degree weather going in and out like sight seeing or shopping. We’ve been dealing with that for a month and it’s miserable in the hot sun. I don’t even like wearing a bra. Lol. The outfits are cute especially the tank.
