Hello, there! I have yet another spring outfit from Savannah to share with you today. This time I’m restyling that Joie lace peasant blouse.
I wasn’t going to post another outfit today, but I noticed that this blouse has been reduced AGAIN, and it is now less than $100. I know it’s still spendy for a shirt, but a lot of you seem to like it, and the sizes are getting depleted so I wanted to hurry up and post these pictures before it’s gone completely. I also rounded up some alternative options for you below.
You may remember that I first styled this top with my bootcut jeans and dove grey espadrille wedges. (Those bootcut jeans are currently 30% off, by the way! Nordstrom is price-matching the Lord & Taylor Friends & Family Sale, so I’ll try to give you a heads-up if I see any other great sale opportunities on popular styles.)
Anyway, I wanted to style a more casual outfit with this top for one of our dinners out in Savannah. This was the night we went to Alligator Soul (HIGHLY recommend for foodies — if you are ever in Savannah, get a reservation. You won’t regret it. And a big thanks to those of you who recommended it to me!)
I paired this lace peasant top with my favorite distressed skinnies, and then I wore chestnut suede wedges and carried my go-to cognac hobo (similar here.) I wanted to keep the look more casual and play into the boho style of the top.
If you like this look but not the price tag, here are some other white peasant blouses that I think are super cute.
I accessorized with these Lucky Brand beaded hoops and some Alex and Ani beaded bangles.
I actually had my Tory Burch travel flats folded up inside my handbag, and on the walk back to the ferry that took us to our hotel, I changed and just carried my wedges by the straps. They were okay for walking a few blocks, but not the mile back to our ferry.
I think this top would also be cute paired with cut-off denim shorts this summer, but I’m not sure I’m cool enough to carry off that look, lol. Maybe if I wore it with flat sandals like these gold thong sandals.
I’ll definitely be taking this outfit with me to the fashion blogging conference I’m attending next month. I want to wear this blouse as much as I can before it gets too hot for long sleeves.
Joie Lace Peasant Top (60% off!) // AG Raw Hem Legging Ankle Jeans (similar for less) // Marc Fisher wedges (25% off!) // similar tassel hobo (earn $50 Bloomies reward card) // beaded hoops // Alex and Ani beaded bangles // Ray-Ban aviators (matte gold frames with pink gradient lenses)

Ohhhh…we are definitely foodies, so I’ll have to keep this restaurant on our list. Did you have alligator?? Or is that just a fun name for it?
I like the thought of carrying flats in your purse—totally smart, Jo-Lynne. I remember the first time we went to Savannah—I didn’t realize it was such a walking city, and I had to buy new shoes so I could walk around! (great excuse, really…)

Funny about the shoes! I have done that before!
Great look Jo-Lynne! Enjoy spring break and safe travels!
I would like to try this restaurant Thanks
Love this look!!! So pretty!!! Glad u enjoyed Alligator Soul. Still a restaurant we talk about and want to go back to 😉
I absolutely love this look. I am going to have to purchase that too. It’s gorg!!! I have the Mark Fisher espadrille s and wore them Sunday for the 1st time. I wore them to Church and then shopping and was surprised at how easy they were to walk in.
Thanks for sharing your trip to Savannah with us. My hubby and I are foodies and look for cool places to eat when we travel. We’ll most definitely have to try this place.
Happy Easter and safe travels.
Thank you so much for posting those similar tops, because I ordered some tan wedges from Macy’s very similar to the Marc Fisher wedges and I wanted a nice off white or cream blouse to wear with them. I loved some of the options you found for us. Safe travels and Happy Easter. I remember when my daughter started college almost two years ago and I felt like I was losing my baby ????
What would you put over this if it is cool? Never know what to put over “flowy” tops. Thanks!
I would probably try a denim jacket or a utility jacket… If it were really chilly, I’d put a winter coat over it and just take it off when I got where I was going. But I probably wouldn’t wear it if it were that cold.
I LOVE that top so much! I have similar, but like yours much more.
Such a pretty top! Love the lacy look. – Amy
