Spring Style Picks from Gap Factory

May always feels like the true start of warm-weather dressing, and if your closet could use a little refresh, Gap Factory has some great pieces to check out right now. From breezy linen-blend sets to relaxed denim and lightweight layers, they’ve got everything you need for everyday spring style and summer plans ahead. And with their Memorial Day Weekend Event kicking off today, it’s the perfect time to shop.

Memorial Day Sale Highlights:
50–70% off sitewide (prices as marked; exclusions apply), plus limited-time doorbusters like $4 flip flops, $10 tees & tanks, $20 shorts & dresses—and an extra 50% off clearance.

To get you in the shopping mood, I styled three easy outfits featuring some of my favorite Gap Factory finds this season. Whether you’re prepping for vacation, stocking up for summer, or just looking for a few versatile staples, these pieces are stylish, affordable, and ready for warmer days ahead.

Look One: Chic & Polished in Linen-Blend Black

Linen-Blend Scoopneck Vest (M) // Linen-Blend Maxi Slip Skirt (M)

This matching set from Gap Factory’s Linen & Gauze Shop is super flattering and feels polished without trying too hard. The vest has a tailored shape with a slight cinch at the waist and an adjustable tie in the back for a more customized fit. And the midi slip skirt is sleek and straight with knee-high side slits that add movement and just a peek of skin.

You can absolutely style these pieces separately, but I love the clean, elevated look of wearing them together as a set. It’s an easy way to look pulled together with minimal effort. And black linen for summer? Always timeless—and such a standout.

Look Two: Casual Cool with Barrel Denim

For something more relaxed, I went with these olive green barrel-leg jeans in the Mesculen Green. The fit is loose but not overwhelming, and they give you a modern shape without veering into overly trendy territory.

Mid Rise Pull-On Soft Barrel Jeans (S) // Ribbed Crewneck T-Shirt (M) // SuperSoft Barrel Sleeve Icon Denim Jacket (S)

I paired them with a fitted grey crewneck tee to balance out the volume on the bottom. Style tip: A closer-fitting top is a great way to offset a wider-leg pant and keep the proportions in check. What I like about this ribbed tee is, it isn’t super body-con. It’s clingy but doesn’t outline every lump and bump.

To finish the look, I added their cropped denim jacket with barrel sleeves. It has that cool, boxy silhouette that updates the classic trucker style, and I love the structure it brings to the outfit.

Look Three: Fresh Neutrals with White Denim + Cropped Trench

This outfit features a few of my favorite spring-to-summer staples—white denim, a crisp white tee, and a lightweight trench. These are classic pieces, but each one has a little twist that makes it feel current.

Cropped Modern Trench S) // ForeverSoft Shrunken Crewneck T-Shirt (S) // High Rise ’90s Original Straight Jeans (29)

The white jeans have a straight-leg cut with cuffed hems for a casual touch. The denim is nice and thick, and the beige front pockets are such a smart detail—they blend in seamlessly instead of showing through. They also have just the right amount of stretch, so they’re comfortable without losing their shape.

I paired them with a boxy white crewneck tee that has a modern, cropped fit and a little more structure than your average basic. It’s a good one to add to your closet, if you need to refresh your white tees.

And to top it all off, this short trench in a soft khaki twill pulls the whole look together. It’s lightweight but structured, and the cropped length gives it a fresh, modern feel—perfect for layering on cooler spring days or breezy summer nights.

Whether you’re looking to refresh your everyday outfits or get a head start on your summer wardrobe, Gap Factory has tons of stylish options at prices that make it easy to stock up. From best-selling linen sets to relaxed denim and modern layering pieces, these are the kinds of staples you’ll wear on repeat all season long.

  1. All of those outfits are so flattering on you. They also look so on trend without trying too hard (something that can be more challenging over 50). I have several pairs of the high rise 90’s jeans and love them. Could you tell me what brand and style of sneaker you’re wearing with the green barrel pants? They look really good with the outfit.

  2. I’ve really been doing a deep dive into my style and curating a new wardrobe following a 30 pound weight loss. I’ve heard it’s a good idea to put pics of all my clothes into an app to help with styling outfits. I saw your outfits in your capsule wardrobe and was wondering what app you use to put them together. Thanks and really enjoying all the England posts!

  3. Everything looks wonderful on you! I love the bag you’re carrying with the monochromatic white outfit and trench coat. Can you provide a link for the bag? Hope you’re enjoying your time in the Cotswolds!

  4. Good morning, Jolynn. The matching set looks lovely on you. Do you know where I can find thick, short (not cropped), long-sleeved t-shirts? Also, do you wear long/ maxi denim skirts? If yes, how would you style them? Thank you in advance.

  5. I am enjoying following you on Instagram to see all of the beauty! You are bringing back memories from our time there many years ago. Thank you for sharing outfits that are budget friendly. Enjoy the rest of your time in the UK.

  6. Honestly, I think all these outfits look just great, but especially love the black linen set. Gonna have to try to get to my outlet before my trip to Tulum next weekend!

I knew you’d love the UK and it looks like the weather has been kind, which always makes it a whole lot better. Can’t wait to see all the pics.
