I’ve had this teal U-neck tee hanging in my closet for months, just waiting for warm weather to pair it with white jeans and sandals. I love teal and white together for spring and summer. It reminds me of the swimming pool.
Caslon Relaxed Slub Knit U-Neck Tee $25 // distressed white jeans // nude Miller Sandals
Stella & Dot Sunray Pendant, Wrap Bracelet, Cage Cuff & Turquoise Stretch Bracelet
Tory Burch Serif T Saddle Bag // Nails: CND Studio White
Of course, I waited so long that now this color has been discontinued (sorry!) but the Teal Britt is close and just as pretty. It is $25 and comes in a gazillion other colors and striped patterns!
UPDATE: I swear, yesterday this shirt was on the website in 24 colors. Today, there are 5, and none are the pretty spring colors they had before. No teal either. I am baffled and annoyed. If you’re looking for a neutral t-shirt, they’ve gotcha covered. I have no idea what happened to all the other pretty colors. Bah humbug.
LOFT has a similar tee that I recommend — their Vintage Soft Tee, and it’s on sale for $15. It comes in some pretty pinks and blues but no teal.
If you like longer tees, you will love this the Caslon U-Neck Tee. I’m actually hoping mine will shrink up a bit in the wash because it’s a little long on me. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It’s not terribly thin, as some t-shirts are these days. I can’t speak to the white and other light colors, but it’s fine in this teal color without a cami or anything underneath.
When I had lunch plans on a beautiful 70-degree day a few weeks ago, I decided it was the perfect time to debut this outfit. Of course, now it’s back to being cold and rainy, but looking at these pictures gives me hope. Spring WILL return, right? RIGHT!?!
Anyway, as planned, I paired the teal tee with my white distressed jeans. When it gets warmer, I’ll wear it with white shorts.
I did the “front tuck” of course. Frankly, I will be happy when this trend has moved on, but for now it’s the only thing know to do with these relaxed-fit tops.
The lighting was just perfect the morning we shot these pictures. I can’t wait for pretty days to return!
I love my Tory Burch Miller Sandals. I have to try not to wear them every day. My mom gifted me with my first pair in white leather a few years ago, and I added the nude patent to my closet this spring. They’re very comfortable for a flat sandal, and they stay on my feet easily when I walk because of the large medallion and cross strap.
I added my Serif T Saddle Bag. It seems to go with everything right now. They call it New Ivory, but it’s close enough to white to work with the white pieces in my wardrobe.
The necklace and bracelets I’m wearing are all new this spring from Stella & Dot. I’m a distributor, so if you ever have any questions, let me know. I’m happy to help! These are actually 3 bracelets layered together.
This is the kind of easy breezy outfit that I live in all summer long. Since I was going out to lunch, I decided to jazz it up with the statement necklace, but I love that you can remove the pendant and wear it as a simple collar necklace for more of an everyday look.
