No, this is not going to become a giveaway/review blog. But I love lotions and potions so when I got the opportunity to review Skin MD Natural™, I took it. Then I got up the nerve to ask for a second sample to give away, and they sent it to me!! So first, for the...
You know what’s wrong with kids these days? I know what you’re thinking. Here she goes again… Well, it’s my blog, so I’m going to indulge in another soapbox moment. I can’t get over the tone of voice I hear coming from the kids around me. Usually the words themselves are not inappropriate. But the...
**UPDATED** I used to be one of those annoyingly prepared people who had my Christmas cards bought and addressed and stamped by September 30 and mailed out on December 1. And then I had three kids. And now I’m lucky if I get a decent snapshot of the three of them or the five of...
Carrie – yes, I love those, but they’re still sticky, and they run out so fast.
Charlotte – oh that’s in tomorrow’s post. what I will miss about summer. 🙂
I agree with everything you’ve already listed!
Cute blog! This reminds me of when I was a kid – my brothers, sister and I LIVED in the pool every summer. I guess that can be expected when you live in Arizona! =)
Hahaha, I’m right there with you!
Have you ever tried the continuous spray sunscreens though? I hate the sticky gooey have to sit still for so long process of putting on sunscreen…times three girls. Target has a store brand that more affordable though too. Oh, and I always spray it while in the store to make sure it doesn’t come out in a stream like some of them do.
Sounds like an interesting product.
Ditto, ditto, ditto!
…but it is so lonely around here without them.
well since its pretty much summer all year over here, not much to miss. But I cant take the HEAT/Humidity anymore! I just want to sit outside and not have a heat stroke..and I cant wait open some windows so my electric bill goes down!
AMEN sister!!!!!!
LOL! I had to ban the colored sunscreen from my dayhome because the palms of my hands actually started to get stained after applying to 6 kids 2 or 3 times a day.
I also won’t miss teenagers staying up way too late.
Mosquitos. I’m not gonna miss them. And sticky, runny, clothes-ruining Popsicles… so glad to see them go. Summer. BAH. HUMBUG.
me too!
p.s. love your blog design
i hate sunscreen period. ooey gooey, messy, smelly. yes, i even hate the spray ones because they start out perfect and end up in that annoying silly string stream.
why couldn’t we just live in ignorant bliss like our parents did? sigh.
i will also miss having all the other kids over.
oh and the yard FULL of toys that no one ever wants to put away.
good times.
I won’t miss the sunscreen yuck either!
I’m with you on the grocery store, SOOOO much easier by myself!
I have to agree with all the things I won’t miss them either. But not really looking forward to the homework!
I will NOT miss the wet bathing suits all over the place. That is FOR SURE! :-p
I’m right there with you on all that!
Yippee for school starting here on Tuesday!
104 degree weather!
You just about covered it there, sister. That whole “Taking three kids to the…” does it for me.
Oh, and not missing questions x3. Enjoying fewer questions this week, definitely.
This may make me sound like an old porch-sitting, broom-wielding grump… but what I won’t miss is enjoying any air conditioning and then having people whine about how it’s too cold. You know the people, those who have sweaters on when it’s 85 degrees outside.
Dude, if you’re that cold, get out there and warm up for awhile! I, for one, do not like it when a room temperature is triple digit, M’kay?
