Vuori for Father’s Day Gift Giving

** This post is sponsored by Vuori.

With Father’s Day just around the corner, you may be looking for some fresh gift ideas for the important men in your life. Well, I have an idea for you!

I gifted Paul a few pieces of Vuori activewear for Christmas — yes, the maker of my favorite joggers. He loves them, so I got him to join me in a photo shoot to show you a few pieces from their men’s summer lineup.

Alison couldn’t resist taking a few shots when I was fixing his buttons… That was not a posed shot, I swear!

Paul loves to be active, but he’s not big into exercise for the sake of exercise. He’d much rather hike a trail or walk with friends in the neighborhood, and he’s always up for a water activity.

Having comfortable activewear that can cross over into casual work wear is key to removing excuses. It’s a worthwhile investment in good health and happiness.

That way, he can take a break in the middle of the day to join me on a walk and get right back to work, or meet a friend at the trail after church without having to bring a change of clothes or going home first to change.

Vuori’s Aim Pants and Strato Tech Polo are the perfect pieces to serve as both activewear and work wear. The pants are made of a super lightweight poly/cotton blend with 4-way stretch, and they have a tailored look that makes them super versatile.

And the Vuori Strato Tech Polo is one of those shirts every guy should have in multiples. It is ridiculously soft and also quick drying and moisture-wicking, plus it has a UPF 30+ for long days in the sun.

The polo style makes it great for the office or a golf outing, or for any other activity where he might want to look a little more leveled up but have the comfort of performance fabric.

Paul is wearing the Navy Heather in a size large. He tends to like a looser fit in his shirts, but he could have easily sized down for a fit more like the model on the website.

For his more active pursuits, the Vuori Strato Tech Tee and Ponto Shorts are the perfect warm weather performance basics. The Strato Tech Tee is the same ultra-soft, moisture-wicking, UPF 30+ performance knit fabric as the polo.

It comes in eight colors (this is the Oxblood Heather), and it runs pretty true to size. Again, Paul took his usual size large, although the medium would have a more streamlined fit.

And the Ponto Shorts are lightweight, soft, and stretchy; and they have a brushed elastic waistband for added comfort.

I got to pick out a couple new Vuori pieces as well! I chose a matching set that is perfect for lounging or walking the neighborhood on mild summer evenings. Both pieces are made of a soft organic cotton french terry, and they run true to size.

The Sunnyside Crew is a vintage-inspired raglan pullover with an oversized, relaxed fit. As cute as it is with these shorts, it will also be great for throwing on with jean shorts at the beach, or wearing with my Vuori joggers on those cool evenings in Maine later this summer.

The Sunnyside Shorts have a 3″ inseam and a drawstring waist, and they’ve quickly become the shorts I throw on after dinner, when I want to be comfortable but it’s too early to put on my pajamas.

Whether you’re looking for practical Father’s Day gift ideas or an update to your own performance gear, Vuori has something for everyone.

In fact, I just ordered a few pieces for my dad for Father’s Day. He’s visiting this weekend, and I hope to have them here in time to give them to him in person. Let’s hope he’s not reading this post!

With Vuori, shipping is free on orders over $75, and returns are always free. Best of all, they stand behind their products 100%. If for any reason you aren’t completely satisfied with your purchase, just send it back. You can’t beat that!

  1. So nice Paul joined you for this post, he’s a natural! My husband is a big fan of this “dry fit” activewear. I’m not sure I’d ever get him to wear that style long pants, which I think are so nice looking, but he’d definitely wear this style of shirts and shorts. Speaking of shorts, I’ve got a funny story. My husband grew up on his family’s farm, jeans were his uniform. Didn’t even own shorts our first 20 years of marriage. For our first trip to Disney in the early 90’s I bought him shorts and said you’re wearing them. We went to the Indiana Jones Stunt Show and they have a little “warm up comedy routine”. Well the gal comes off the stage, up the aisle and sits on my husbands lap. He was so embarrassed. Then she grabs his hand and drags him up on stage in front of thousands. And proceeds to make fun of his white chicken legs!!! Let’s just say it was probably another 20 years before he’d consider shorts again! After the trauma wore off, he loves this new type of materiel and lives in his shorts and tee’s for the summer. And his legs are tan now!

  2. Well I had no idea what to get my husband this year. I’m all set now. I ordered a sampling of everything in your post. Thanks so much. That was easy and I’m all set for Dad’s Day!

  3. Good for your husband – and us, your readers – for being such a good sport and taking pics for this post! It’s nice to see the clothing items being worn so you can get a good sense of how they lay. Great post! Enjoy your celebration this weekend!

  4. The clothes look great on him. That’s something my husband would have worn for sure. If you could get him out of jeans long enough. Your husband has the friendliest face. You can tell what a nice man he is. Be blessed. Love that shade of pink.

  5. What a fun post. Its neat to see Paul join you. I think the look of this active wear is great. My husband hates changing his clothes once dressed for the day and is the same…..doesn’t like to exercise just to exercise, but likes to be active in doing other things. I think the size large is a good fit for Paul.. Probably more comfortable too. My husband is the same in that manner too. He could use Medium is shirts but always wants large. Do the men’s shorts run true to size? I’m thinking about those for him. I think the pink outfit you got to pick out is so cute on your. It looks so comfortable and I think you’ll get a lot of use out of both pieces. I’m glad the graduation for Caroline went well and I look forward to seeing the pictures on Sunday in your coffee talk. Have a fun, celebrating weekend with family and friends.

  6. My husband wears a large, as well. He can’t stand tight (close) fitting shirts. His favourite tees are UnderArmour. I’ll have to look into Vuori. So nice that Paul agreed to model.

  7. Love the cute pictures of you two – Especially the way he’s looking at you. You’re a lucky woman…

  8. My husband hates shopping (I can’t relate) so I’m always looking for online options for him. I’ve been hearing about Vuori so was thrilled to see your post. Checking them out now… xo Nipa
