Happy hump day, friends! Public access for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has begun, and there are still a lot of great deals to be had. If you’re just starting to shop today, you can find all of my #NSale coverage linked in the menu at the top of the blog (on mobile, tap the three lines at the top left for the dropdown menu.)
AllSaints shoulder bag // Vince sweater (S) // Mother jeans (29; size up!) // Vince Camuto boots (8.5; size up!) // Kendra Scott earrings // Monica Vinader link bracelet // Gucci sunnies (not on sale)
I’ll link to everything I’m wearing under each picture along with sizing notes, but not everything is available at the moment. That said, restocks are happening all the time, so if there’s something you want, keep checking back on it! (For size reference, I’m 5’5″ and around 137 pounds, and I usually take a 6/28 in pants/jeans, a small in tops, and size 8 shoe.)
Best Handbags #NSale 2021
The AllSaints Edbury shoulder bag may be my favorite. It’s made of the most gorgeous buttery, pebbled leather, and it has the perfect slouchy silhouette. It holds more than it looks at first glance, and the wide shoulder strap makes it comfortable to carry.
It has brushed silver hardware, and it comes in two gorgeous fall neutrals — Caramel (pictured) and Cherry (which is more brown than red.) I love how it pops against the peacock blue sweater above, but also look how pretty it is with fall neutrals like this chocolate brown turtleneck.
Another one of my favorite bags from this year’s #NSale is this Tory Burch Carson striped crossbody.
This is a smaller bag that’s perfect for going-out looks or those times when you only need to carry the essentials.
I also love how this bag pops against this green cardigan, and the shoulder strap is removable, if you ever want to carry it as a clutch.
My other favorite bag from this year’s #NSale is the Clare V. Simple Tote in the Mini Cat print. This bag is more of a splurge, but it makes such a chic statement, and it’s so versatile. The neutral tones in the print go with just about everything. I also love that fun stripe shoulder strap, for a surprising contrast.
If you don’t care for the strap, you can carry this bag over your arm as I did here, although I will say, it’s a little heavy and not practical to carry it this way for extended periods of time. You can always get a different shoulder strap, if you want a more neutral option.
See how beautifully it pairs with light neutrals, like the ivory sweater and sand suede booties, as well as with darker neutrals like this black moto jacket and boots.
I also love how it pops against a color, like this gorgeous grassy green, or the rust-red thermal top. It also works with almost any neutral shoe.

And that makes the perfect segue!
Best Boots #NSale 2021
My favorite boots from the #NSale this year are the Vince Camuto Welland booties. They come in a lot of great color options, but I love how the Tortilla Suede complements all of the handbags I featured above.
These boots are comfortable right out of the box, and they have that subtle Western flair that’s trending right now.
Plus, there are so many great details that set these boots apart — the snipped toe, tapered woodgrain block heel, and the notched shaft with tonal topstitching. I definitely recommend sizing up half in these. I have the 8.5.
Chelsea boots are also trending this year, and these Louise Et Cie boots are a hidden gem from this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I haven’t seen anyone else talking about them, but they caught my eye right away.
When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are, and I love the taller shaft for wearing under wider-legged jeans. They also come in black leather and a really cool mahogany/black croco print, and they’re true to size.
A similar style that I’m also loving for this fall is the Tory Burch Chelsea 70mm Lug Bootie. These are a little more of an investment, but the quality is superb, and I love the streamlined silhouette.
They’re not quite as clunky as the Louise Et Cie, and they’re also extremely comfortable and true to size. They also have a higher shaft, so they fit easily under crop flares, as well as with full-length jeans.
The last pair of boots I want to call out today is the Marc Fisher Gadri Pointed Toe Bootie. I always know I can depend on Marc Fisher boots for quality, comfort, and style; and these are no exception.
These boots also have a bit of a Western flair, and they come in a bunch of great neutrals. My cream leather version is fun for a change, but the black leather is a great classic, and the Rhum Suede is a fabulous fall hue.
If you’re looking to refresh your fall boots and bags, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to find quality pieces at a significant discount. Most of these items will return to full price once the sale is over, and they may not be on sale again until the holidays.
