Best of March 2023

Hi there. I can’t believe it’s April already, but here we are! It’s freezing here in Philly this morning, but the sun is shining and the flowers and flowering trees are starting to bloom, and I’m here for it!

Before we continue on with more spring fashion and beauty content, I’m sharing the Best of March. These were the most popular products and posts here on the blog and across my social media channels last month.

Top 10 Products in March 2023

First, the 10 best selling products! These are listed in typical Top Ten order, with the most popular one last.

also wearing: PAIGE denim (29) // OPI Funny Bunny

#10. Kork-Ease Hutton (also at Nordstrom) (8) // These sandals are one of my personal favorites, and I’m so glad they ranked in the top 10. I find myself reaching for these every time I want a casual heel. They balance the wider silhouettes that are trending, and they’re extremely comfortable to walk in. Mine are the “yellow” color, but they read as more of a neutral beige. It’s a warmer tone than I typically go for, but I like it.

also wearing: Paige Jolie Cargo Pants (29) // J.Crew packable straw hat

#9. Faherty Dream Cotton Gauze Desmond Top (also at Bloomingdale’s) (S) // This is such a nice quality, breezy top for spring and summer. The fabric is super soft, and the button placket and roll sleeve designs are such nice details. It comes in a bunch of colors, but I love how this soft shade of white pairs with denim as well as these olive cargo pants. It would also look great with ecru or white jeans, for a monochromatic look.

also wearing: Paige Jolie Cargo Pants (29) // old AllSaints belt (M)

#8. Caslon Casual Linen Blend Button-Up Shirt (M) // This stripe button-up is a nice alternative to the pricier RAILS Charli that I fell for when it came in my last Evereve Trendsend box. It’s a little thicker and longer, and the colors are more saturated, but it’s a nice quality shirt and gives you the same look. Just be sure to size up; it runs small.

also wearing: Evereve Brielle Midi Dress (M)

#7. JNB Top Handle Straw Clutch in Tan1 // I borrowed this bag from my friend Lindsey when I was in Florida, and I liked it so much, I came home and ordered it. It’s the perfect summer clutch for your dressier looks, and it’s a great price, too.

also wearing: LOFT blouse (S) // Marc Fisher sandals (7.5)

#6. Good American Good Straight High Waist Raw Hem Straight Leg Jeans (8) // I’ve dubbed these the best white jeans under $100 because they have a great fit and feel, and they aren’t see-through at all, which is hard to find in white denim. They’re a high rise, slim straight leg style, with a raw hem. Size up, if in between.

also wearing: MOTHER denim (29)

#5. LOFT Stripe Crochet Textured Sweater (S) // This is the perfect transition sweater. It’s 100% cotton, and the navy and white stripe has a nautical vibe that gives a nod to the spring/summer weather to come. It’s also a great price right now!

also wearing: old Vince sweater // Dolce Vita sandals (8)

#4. Gap Factory Mid Rise Classic Straight Jeans with Washwell (8) // These jeans have similar measurements to the Good American pair, but they’re a little longer and they have a finished hem. They’re very thick, but also stretchy and comfortable, and the clean white wash is highly versatile. They also come in short and tall sizes, if you want a different length.

also wearing: Good American jeans (8) // Marc Fisher sandals (7.5)

#3. LOFT Floral Ruffle Mixed Media Shell (other styles & colors) (S) // This is one of my favorite spring tops so far, I can’t wait to start wearing it for real. It’s such a pretty print, and it pairs well with white or blue denim. I’ll throw a denim jacket on top when I need extra warmth.

also wearing: Madewell tee (S) // Birkenstock slides (39)

#2. Wit & Wisdom ‘Ab’Solution Skyrise Raw Hem Stretch Cotton Cargo Pants (6) // These pants keep popping up in my top sellers, and I’ve only ever showed them in a try-on haul! They’re a great price for casual pants and a nice denim alternative; size down, if in between.

also wearing: PAIGE denim (29) // Kork-Ease sandals (8) // YSL belt (90)

#1. KUT from the Kloth Kara Fray Hem Trucker Jacket (more sizes at kutfromthekloth.com) (S) // This should come as no surprise to anyone who’s been paying attention, but this green jacket was by far and away the top seller last month. I knew when I first laid eyes on it that it would be. It’s such a pretty color, and it has such a nice fit. It’s super versatile, too. I’ve had this jacket in several colors over the years, but this Cactus may be my favorite ever!

  1. JoLynne—Do you have any recommendations for sandals/shoes for boot cut jeans for summer that aren’t extremely high but still stylish. I’m much older than you and can’t wear that high of a heel but still want to look modern, thanks

  2. Thinking of finally ordering the cactus denim jacket! Just trying to decide small or extra small. It appears to have some nice shaping. Is the small roomy on you?

    1. I’d say it runs a little small. I have had it in the medium before, but I went with small on this one. The arms are a little long, so if that’s a thing for you, it might affect which size you get too.

  3. This was a fun post to read! I still need to read your post on styling wide legged jeans. And I’m going to see the color options for the Kut cropped denim jacket. I hope you didn’t freeze too much shooting pictures. We are in the 50’s with a strong wind, and on & off rain.

  4. I think the Paige denim wide leg pants look really nice on you styled with the white tee and cactus jacket, so fresh looking and those jeans fit nicely through the thigh area which makes such a difference.

  5. Yes I agree there is no way I can wear high heels out shopping or touring on vacation. Better take care of your feet girls
