Top Five Blog Posts in September
I also rounded up the top five blog posts from last month, according to Google Analytics. If you missed any of these, be sure to check them out!

#5. Fall Wardrobe Essentials // A perennially popular post that I recently updated with fresh styles and trends, and current shoppable links.

#4. Fall Try-On Haul: Evereve, Talbots & Gap Factory // My try-on hauls always generate a lot of buzz, and this is one of two in the Top Five last month! In this post, I have a lot of new fall styles from Evereve, plus a few random finds from Talbots and Gap Factory.

#3. Trending This Fall: Brown Footwear & Accessories // I styled two outfits around brown footwear and accessories for fall, and everything is available at Nordstrom for easy one-stop shopping!

#2. Early Fall Try-On Haul // Yep, another try-on haul! This one features styles from J.Crew, Nordstrom, Evereve, and more. I found some really nice transition pieces, lots of denim and tops, and a great pair of shoes.

#1. What to Wear with Wide Leg Jeans This Fall // This post went gangbusters on Google last month, bringing in a slew of new email subscribers that I hope will become regulars around here. I don’t really write for SEO (Search Engine Optimization), so I’m always excited when one of my posts gets picked up by Google or Pinterest. This is a hot topic, as wide leg jeans can be tricky to style.

I like all the looks with the full length jeans. They’re very slimming and it looks like you have legs for miles. I think horizontal stripes look better with full length jeans from looking at the pictures. I can’t say that about the skirt. Maybe if you had a higher heel. I tried to order the burgundy sweater but petite size was gone. I just looked and it’s only available in cream. I’m trying to branch out into different colors because I have so much olive green and lighter shades of brown. So far everything I like comes on the same neutrals I always have.
I have been a long time reader and for the past week, 10 days, I have not been receiving your emails. I can still read your blogposts, but I do miss your newsy chats. This happened to me and several other people about 5-6 years ago, and it was corrected, but other than adding you to my contacts, I don’t know what else I did. Any advice?
Ugh! I want that Loft sweater in grey so bad! I keep checking but all they show is whisper white.
Great posts always! Thank you for dressing me!
PS: if you’re xs the Kut Amanda jacket is down to $40!
I purchased the jacket from Talbots, and I should receive it in the mail today! I can’t wait to wear it.
Of bloggers I follow, your style resonates the most with me. Purchased a few of your ideas last😵💫month.
I keep trying Gap jeans but those flares were just no good on me. I did get the the collared rib sweater and like it. Also got the roll neck sweater in the camel black stripe.
Got the Loft collared sweater in the Ivory ….. it should be very versatile!
Thinking on that rust Evereve sweatshirt. I love their elevated sweatshirts and have several!
Thanks for your ideas.
Are you going to do a post on the clothes you bought last season that you have not worn as much as you thought you would?
I’d like to see a post like that too.
Oh yeah, I forgot all about that. That’s always a fun one. I’ll see if I can fit it in.
I am one of your followers who was affected by Helene in North Carolina. I live in Rutherford County where there is much damage in the western part of the county (Lake Lure and Chimney Rock). I just want to thank you for thinking of us and donating to a much worthy cause. So many people have lost homes and livelihoods with both of those cities being tourist towns. I was fortunate that I still have a home standing with minimal damage. Still no power but finally got the road cleared today. Prayers appreciated for the western mountains of North Carolina.
I’m glad your home is OK, and I hope you get your power back soon. I have quite a few friends in the state and some of the stories on my Facebook feed are just horrifying.
I bought the quarter zip sweater & roll neck sweater from gap factory & can’t wait to wear them when it cools off some. I really appreciate your posts & the work that you put into them. Thanks, also, for not always going down the Amazon rabbit hole. Not everything you post fits in my budget but your sales alerts help a lot!
