Greetings, friends! Happy Palm Sunday!
I can’t believe Easter is a week away; it definitely doesn’t feel like it weather-wise, but we’ve had a few pretty days and I’m hoping the snow will at least be melted by next weekend.
We’ll be visiting my parents in Virginia, which I’m looking forward to. I’ll also get to visit with my brother’s family and my childhood bestie, who I haven’t seen in far too long.
I don’t usually do product-focused posts on Sundays, but it’s been an age since I’ve done a What I Wore post or an IG Roundup (they’re sort of one and the same) so I thought I’d do that today.
Don’t forget that today is the last day of Nordstrom Triple Points, the Bloomingdale’s Denim Days and Loyallist savings event, the Macy’s VIP Sale, and Lord & Taylor has 35% off their dresses today too. Plus Loft has 30% off tops and sweaters as well as an additional 40% off sale styles. WHEW!!!
I don’t want this post to be too terribly long, so I’m going to focus on the looks I’ve worn that are still mostly available and have some of the above promotions attached to them.
I’ve gotten a lot of use out of this blush and ivory striped boatneck sweater this season, and by the looks of the weather forecast, I’ll have plenty more opportunities to wear it before summer arrives. It would also be cute with jean shorts on a cool summer night. It’s on sale and then 40% off that price, which brings it down to just $23.99.
This is my favorite date night outfit so far this season. This suede moto jacket is part of the Nordstrom Triple Points, and the jeans are available at Bloomingdale’s so you can get 15% off (or 25% if you buy 2 or more pairs.)
This is a fun transition outfit — love the updated utility jacket for spring.
Here’s another way I’ve worn this jacket — over a grey tee with white jeans and taupe ankle boots.
I wore this to the mall one Saturday a few weeks back. (Yes, I wore a coat over top.)
I wore this out to dinner one night when we were in Nashville. It’s a slightly dressed-down version of the outfit above. These shoes are one of my favorites for spring and summer, and they’re on sale at Nordstrom Rack.
I wore this one day touring Nashville. I absolutely love this coat; it’s chic but functional, perfect for spring weather… if it ever gets to us here in Philly!) Also the sweater is marked way down, the jeans are part of Triple Points, and the booties are also reduced.
I love this dusty rose sweater from Ann Taylor; I’ve been wearing it a ton recently because it’s warm enough for our winterish weather but it looks like spring.
This is yet another Loft sweater I’ve been enjoying this spring. This one does have 3/4 length sleeves, though, so keep that in mind. It also runs small. I wonder if I should have gone with a medium.
Similar to an outfit above, but these shoes are really cute and fun for spring, if you’re into loafers.
Everything I’m wearing here besides my jeans are sold out, but I wore this to go out with friends a few weeks ago, and I just want to share it because I like it. Ha!
I love this sporty tee for spring casual outfits, and it’s part of the Nordstrom Triple Points event.
Another day, another Loft sweater and jeans… I wore this to church last week. I love the combination of black, red, and leopard.
I thought this was pretty creative… ha! It was cold and snowy, but I wanted to wear something spring-like to the salon to get my hair cut and for errands afterwards, so I paired this ivory wool sweater with pink skinnies, and I wore my grey UGG boots since they’re weather proof and oh-so warm.
And you’ve seen this top a lot already this year, but it’s also part of the Nordstrom Triple Points, and it comes in so many great colors. I wish the Azalea was available in my size; I’d snap it right up.
There are a lot of days that I’m still wearing winter sweaters; it’s just too cold not to. Since we had such a warm fall, I’m trying to enjoy having a few more weeks to wear my winter wardrobe favorites, but I’m definitely itching for warmer weather so I can wear my new spring clothes all the time!
I know it’s coming. Just gotta be patient!
Also, I haven’t talked about it a lot this time around, but registration for Adore Your Wardrobe closes Tuesday, and the next session starts Wednesday. If you haven’t taken it, and you’ve been wanting to, don’t put it off any longer. You won’t regret it; trust me.
