Comfortable dress sandals are a summer wardrobe essential, but so many have super high heels or they’re strappy and are hard to walk in. Not so with these B.P. Luminate Open Toe Dress Sandals from Nordstrom. These are comfortable and affordable and oh-so-cute.
This style of shoe is very popular right now, and I love it because it’s ladylike and flattering, but not difficult to walk in. I have it in a variety of heel styles and heights, but this is my favorite pair because of it’s combination of affordability, comfort, and style. They are only $59, they come in about 10 colors, and they’re available in medium and wide widths.
I like how the ankle strap holds them securely to my foot, and the 3-inch heel is high enough to be attractive but not so high that makes them hard to walk in.
If leather matters to you, I also have the Sam Edelman Patti. It is equally comfortable, but it is $99 as opposed to $59, and the strap across the toes is a bit thinner.
I styled these sandals with a navy and white polka dot faux wrap dress and an orange tassel clutch. You know how much I love navy and white for spring, and the orange clutch is the perfect color to make this outfit pop!
I rarely do wrap dresses, so I was thrilled when I tried this on and discovered how flattering it is. Even the tie works for me, and I usually steer clear of that style. It’s also incredibly well made for the price. I appreciate that it’s fully-lined, and it has a nice weight to it.
The extended shoulders and mock collar are conservative and add sophistication to this classic style, while the polka dots keep it playful. Because it’s a faux wrap, the top stays together without needing to pin it so it’s very modest. I’ll definitely be wearing this outfit to church when the weather gets warmer. It could also work for the office or an evening event.
To take this dress from day to night, add a white blazer or cardigan for the office, and maybe even switch out the sandals for pumps and the clutch for a shoulder bag. White pumps are on trend right now and would be amazing with this dress, or you could go with beige pumps for a more conservative look. Then when you’re going out for the evening, ditch the jacket, change into the sandals and grab your clutch!
These sandals are the perfect companion to all of your summer dresses, and they’re equally cute with jeans and a blouse. If you have a pair of versatile dress sandals on your summer shopping list, I recommend these without reservation.
