That I actually got CARDED the other night? CARDED! ME!!
I was at the Cheesecake Factory, and my friend and I were sitting in the bar area. I ordered a glass of red wine, and the next thing I knew, the waitress said, "May I see some I.D.?"
I was like, "Whah? Huh?" And then I might have kissed her. I’m not exactly sure. I was so overwhelmed with excitement and appreciation that I couldn’t think straight for several minutes.
After thanking her profusely, I realized that she was serious, which made me love her all the more, and so I opened my bag and retrieved my driver’s license.
She took a look at my birthdate and said, "Eh, I wasn’t too far off."
Needless to say, she got a VERY large tip.

I still get carded more often than not. I will miss it when it comes to an end. TBut not people thinking I must have started having kids at 12 not 23. I look young, but not that young!

I wish I always felt that was good. It was just over a year ago that I got CARDED going into an R-rated movie w/ my nephew! The clerk thought we were on a date! :-~
I think I was only carded once. It was on my 21st birthday (no kidding) but it was for a rated R movie!!! I haven’t been carded since, even at the Cheesecake factory!
When we were pregnant with my son my husband (who was… 37 at the time) got carded at a local pub. My husband being the funny guy that he is pulled out his very fake ELVIS id thinking he was going to be a funny guy… the waitress didn’t even blink an eye. She looked at it and then went on to do her business. We were speechless! too funny.

Heh. I had a complimentary experience once there as well, a waiter called me “Miss” instead of “Ma’am”. LOVED IT.
