Easy Weekend Wear: Striped 3/4 Sleeve Tee

Hey guys, I’m back today with an easy breezy weekend outfit. I am so bummed, this Striped 3/4 Sleeve Tee at LOFT is almost sold out!! I should have posted this outfit sooner, I guess. I’ve had these pictures for a while. You may remember seeing me wearing this on my Destin trip back in January.

Outfit Details:
Striped 3/4 Sleeve Tee
 $20 | Converse Shoreline $49
Hudson Krista Super Skinny Crop Jeans $189 (AEO similar style $49)
my Stella & Dot Geo Tile Crosby Hobo $119 | bangles c/o Alex and Ani
Silpada Half Moon Earrings $79 | Kate Spade Gramercy Bracelet Watch $225

This top is going to be perfect for the next couple of months, but it hasn’t been QUITE warm enough here in PA for me to wear it much yet. It comes in grey melange (as I’m wearing) and white. Both are adorable and highly versatile. I love the easy, relaxed fit and the seaming detail on the sleeve.

It’s the perfect casual top to throw on with cropped jeans and fashion sneakers. It would also be darling with white jeans and silver sandals. You could even wear it with mint or blush jeans. So many possibilities! (For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.)

If you like the shape of this top and it’s sold out in your size, you might check out this Caslon Stripe V-Neck Sweater for $48. It is not a sweater; it’s totally a tee, I don’t know why they’re calling it a sweater. It has a very similar styling to the LOFT shirt and comes in several color combos. I actually bought it in red, and I’ll be styling it later this month.

These are my Hudson Krista Super Skinny Crop Jeans. I scored mine on sale for less than $100 at Nordstrom at the end of last summer, and now I can only find them on Amazon for full price, but I’ll definitely give y’all a heads-up if and when I see them or something similar on sale.

I accessorized with silver. The Half Moon Earrings earrings are Silpada, and the bracelets were gifted by Alex and Ani. I love them for casual wear.

I’m a Stella & Dot stylist, and this is their Geo Tile Crosby Hobo. It’s my favorite bag in their new spring line. So cute with denim.

This is the perfect casual weekend outfit, and it’s the type of thing I often wear on a weekday working from home. I also plan to bring it with me on my Maine vacation this summer!

  1. I love the Stella & Dot bag!!! It is super cute, and looks big enough for all my essential (crap) items. I am going to have to break down and buy me some Chuck Taylor’s, they just scream Summer. You look great. I hope you have a wonderful day.

  2. I actually bought this Loft shirt after seeing it on your blog last time! It’s super cute and I’m looking forward to wearing it. I also have the Caslon top in navy. It doesn’t feel like a tee to me, but more like a very very thin sweater. It is super cute as well and I can’t wait to see how you style yours.

    1. Interesting that you’re on the sweater train. 🙂 I need to look at it again. I saw it at the store and picked it up so I didn’t see the description until I went to find a link to it. Then I was like, Wait. Sweater? But I’m sure it’s the same top I bought. 🙂 It is a very nice quality. I like it, whatever it is! HA!

  3. Cute, comfy outfit! ! I love the Stella and dot bag. Your jewelry is lovely as well. My kind of outfit!

      1. Sorry, sometimes I forget not everyone has been reading forever. 🙂 I went to Destin, Florida, back in January, and I wore this outfit then. Some people saw pictures of it at that time. That’s what I was referring to. 🙂

  4. Such a cute and easy outfit! I’m so glad I scooped up the top for $14. I knew it would go with just about everything. By the way, I found some of the jeans in the Nico ankle on amazon for $80 (very similar or maybe even the same wash). They’re my second pair of the Nico style and I think they’re very similar to Kristas with a bit of a higher rise maybe. Both are probably my favorites right now!

  5. I bought this shirt from Loft when it was on sale a while back. I have the converse too. You are giving me ideas.

  6. Very cute. 🙂

When I click the link for the Caslon top, it shows a sweatshirt, and looks very lightweight. I just may have to get one…after Easter, since I cannot shop during lent. 🙂 I can shop on Sundays, so…

The weather is beautiful here in NC this week, and this outfit would be great. 77 today, 78 tomorrow. Love this weather. Hope it warms up your way soon.

      1. I agree Jo-Lynne. I have this shirt. I live in NC too and can wear this now. It’s more like a tee, not a sweater or sweatshirt.

  7. I’m a fool for a good striped shirt–stripe-aholic actually….. Love the visual interest the mix of prints created with your handbag and stripes. White converse are such a great classic every women of any age can wear!! Great causal outfit!! I love the styles at Loft. xx-shannon

  8. I also have this top and love it! Very versatile! I really like the look of the Chuck Taylors on others but when I tried them on, I felt like I had clown feet! Anyone else feel that way? Hmmmmm

    1. TOTALLY! I tried them on like 50 times over the past few years, and I always left them in the store, feeling like you. Finally I tried the Shoreline, and they still look large, but not quite as bad. I think you have to get used to it. They look different when you are looking at someone head-on than when you are looking down on them. I wore them around, looked at them from all angles of the mirror in the shoe dept, and finally bit the bullet, and I’ve never looked back. You get used to the look, and they really are a fun sporty addition to so many outfits. 🙂 No support though. Not a shoe for finicky feet.

      1. Those jeans look fab on you! I have the Shoreline in cloud gray. I feel all young and peppy when I wear them. I have a narrow foot, but they are comfy and stay put. I do have to wear ankle socks with them. I tried to wear without and got a blister. As for the Loft shirt, I bought a small and hope it doesn’t shrink. I should probably have gone for the medium but was too lazy exchange it.
