23 Days of Spring Fashion 2021
It’s that time again! 23 Days of Spring Fashion is when I team up with Cyndi Spivey to style a new spring outfit every weekday during the month of March. If you have any requests for certain styles or trends you’d like to see, let me know!
To kick off this year’s 23 Days of Spring Fashion, I wanted to share an outfit that I absolutely love and that really conveys my personal style.
When I saw this bomber jacket at Evereve, it was love at first sight, but the price tag gave me pause. I decided to order it, just to see how it looked in person… #famouslastwords
Suffice it to say, this jacket is a keeper. Not only does it fit perfectly and have great attention to detail, it’s also really soft and lined inside, so it’s warmer than most jackets of this style — perfect for the chilly spring weather we tend to get here in the Philadelphia suburbs.
It looks great with this leopard tee, and it will also be perfect for wearing over graphic tees with blue jeans, or it can be dressed up with a woven tank and heels for date night.
I think they sum it up perfectly on the website. This jacket is most definitely cozy, cool, comfortable, and chic. You can expect to see it on repeat in What I Wore Lately this spring. It runs true to size; I have the small.
For a similar look without the high price tag, this drawstring hem denim jacket is on sale for $49 at LOFT today, and I rounded up a few other options below.

This leopard tee was another Evereve purchase. I knew when I placed my order that I wanted to wear these two pieces together. The material is 95% rayon, 5% spandex, so it has a lovely drape; and it’s super soft and comfortable against the skin.
It front tucks beautifully, and with the 26″ length and a curved hemline, it really does require a tuck. I have this tee in the size small, and I would say it’s true to size, with a relaxed fit.
On the bottom, I’m wearing my AGOLDE Toni straight ankle jeans in the washed black and my P448 John sneakers.
I love olive and black together, and since the leopard tee has black in the print, these jeans seemed like the obvious choice.
Washed black is very on trend right now, and it’s in keeping with this casual look. A jet black wash is dressier, which could work with different shoes and a different top. But for this outfit, I like the more casual vibe of the washed black.
These also have some distressing and a chewed hem, which I personally like, but if you prefer a more traditional hem, you can try the AGOLDE Toni in the Montage wash. It looks identical to these, but without the raw, chewed hem.
Straighter pant styles are also trending this spring, and these have a slim, straight cut that is designed to hit right above the ankle bone. (They have a 26 1/2″ inseam with a 13″ leg opening.) They also have a 10″ front rise, which is on the higher end of a mid-rise.
I think they’re a nice compromise between the skinny jeans that some of us are quite fond of, and the more modern straight styles which can add visual weight and be hard to style — at least, they’re hard to style for those of us who love our skinny jeans!
Speaking of newer trends, the layered necklaces that have been popular for a while are getting chunkier. I’m bummed that this one is falling into my shirt… this is a problem I have with pendants. I have a very short chest area, lol. (Yes, that’s actually a thing.)
I actually combined two necklaces to get this look — this paperclip pendant and this double chain necklace. Both are from Evereve.
I’m rather new to shopping Evereve, and I’m loving their selections. They do a great job of curating good quality pieces that are stylish and on trend without being too extreme for this suburban mid-life mom. Also, you can earn up to 10% back in the form of a coupon mailed to your door through Evereve Rewards.
Also, my rag & bone sunnies have been restocked. They were part of the Bloomies sale over the weekend, but they’re back to full price today. I’ll keep an eye on them. I love the oversized style and the colors in the tortoiseshell frames.
Finally, this leather crossbody is carefree and easy. I love how you can unzip it to expand if necessary. If we ever travel again, haha, it occurred to me that it would pack really easily because it’s so flat, and then it can be expanded when you get to your destination. I wish we’d gotten a better picture of it… next time.
I hope you all are as excited about spring fashion as I am. I’ll be back tomorrow with a work wear look. Meanwhile, be sure to visit Cyndi Spivey and see the spring look she’s styling today!

GM and Happy March! It’s a cool 54 in SA today and perfect for a light weight jacket.
So excited to see some new spring styles as I wasn’t able to wear many spring clothes last spring due to our lockdown, so now I’m super ready. I ordered a sage colored jacket from HSN and hoping to be able to wear it with your style inspiration.
Also thinking for ordering P448 sneakers but confused on sizing. How do they run? I think you did a post on them so I’ll look back.
So glad you like it. The sneakers are kind of weird with their sizing, I was told it’s because they are handmade so no two are exactly alike. I have one pair in a 39 and one pair in a 38. So I always recommend ordering two sizes and returning the one that doesn’t work.
Good Morning,
I love this outfit!
Could you tell me what size your wearing in the jeans?
Oh yes. They are size 28, and they run true to size.
Great outfit on you! That is one of the prettiest bomber jackets I’ve seen. If I needed spring jackets, I would want this one in a different color since greens don’t work with my skin tone. I hope you have a great day!
Love the bomber jacket! Excited to see you include more Evereve choices. I think their offerings are definitely your style aesthetic.
Love the jacket! Looks like you could wear it spring and fall. Looking forward to this spring series.
I love that jacket!!
Do you have another source for the tee? It’s not available and I’m not having any luck finding it.
I’m so sorry, I didn’t know it was sold out! Here it is at another retailer: https://rstyle.me/+A5gbIUdwWDUjXKIJvxAPLA
Love this green bomber jacket….I would have never have thought of the leopard print tee with it…looks great. It’s been such a cold winter that I’ve bought so many sweatshirts, sweatpants, heavy jogger pants…I’m certainly ready for some spring clothes.
Great start to the series with Cyndi! What’s even better is that I can (nearly) re-create this outfit today – only difference would be an olive green button up from Target instead of a jacket and some similar shoes. But that works since we’re expecting a (humid) high of 81 degrees here in southern Louisiana. #badhairday 🙁 Have a great day!
I really like this outfit. I ended up ordering the green Levi’s jacket instead, because I have so many spring jackets I like and I am not sure how often I would wear it. I am glad you are excited about Spring fashion now. Last week you seemed a bit pessimistic about nicer weather ever coming again! We are supposed to have a lot of sunny days in the 50’s here in south central Indiana and I am excited! And February is gone! Yahoo!
Hi Jolynne,
I tried to shop from your widget in this post and wasn’t able to get past the little square that said “shop”.
I was I sing my Apple iPad. Am I doing something wrong? Btw, loved the spring post…
You can’t tap on it to get it to open up? That is odd. I wish I had an iPad so I could test out some of these things.
Hey Everyone,,,Evereve also has the bomber jacket in a gorgeous “soft maroon” color. They call it roanrouge.
For those that have trouble wearing this shade of green. Jo-Lynne, the site says this jacket runs small and to consider sizing up, did you find it true to size, I want to order the Roanrouge but was wondering if I should order my usual size or size up.
Oooh, good to know. I didn’t see that. I found it true to size. I have the small. Here it is, for anyone looking: https://rstyle.me/+sm1RRvovr_Y1NxqieyRHOQ
I am viewing your site from an IPad and the ‘shop’ button worked for me, with no problems. Maybe just a glitch?
I enjoy your posts and like your style. I’m quite a bit older than you, but want to dress stylishly. My problem is that I’m unable to buy clothes at the prices of most of your items. You do sometimes provide ideas at a lower price point, but most things are way out of my reach. I guess I will have to use your ideas and then look for quality items at a lower cost. Thank you for your posts!
Cute bomber jacket. That color sure is in this season. I’ve never ordered from Evereve. I know Cyndi likes it too.
That is a fun jacket! I love the color. I do love a good lightweight jacket. Last year was pretty much a bust for wearing cute clothes. Our state is still more locked down than others, but hopefully by mid to late spring we’ll be out and about a little more. I guess I can still wear a cute jacket for a curbside pick up. Ha.
Love the spring post. The reason I asked about collagen is I just ordered powder and was curious what you thought about it.
Oh, I wasn’t sure if it was something I said. 🙂 I just started taking it b/c I figure it might help with hair and nails and bone strength and all that jazz. I don’t like powders in general, but I found this stuff that’s chocolate, and you can put it in water, and it’s pretty tasty. Almost like chocolate milk. https://shop.perfectketo.com/products/perfect-keto-grass-fed-keto-collagen-with-mct?variant=49315712213
I too have a short chest. It makes it so hard to find tanks and camisoles that don’t come up far enough and I end up altering the straps. Camis do have those slidey adjuster things and since I wear over a bra always, I just make it so they cover what’s under.
Funny you should mention layered necklaces. As part of my 40 bags of Lent I’m working my way through my jewelry. I spent a half hour untangling a bunch of Kendra chains. I think I’ll stick to one at a time. I also have that yellow metal Stella and Dot that you have with the pearly white pendant and it goes south too. It got involved in the untangling today. I swear, chains wait till you leave the room and then they conspire. Kinda like the toys in Toy Story movies, lol.
My closet is purged and I’m ready for spring. Now that I can actually see what I have, I can shop from my closet FIRST and fill in things that I need to replace. My car (Ford Edge, no slouch in the haul department) is chock full of trash bags full of stuff that got to be too big. Can’t wait to see what you and Cyndi come up with! Excited!
Would this outfit work with the leopard print tee you recommended from Amazon last fall?
I already have that in my closet and I’m hoping it can work for spring with this bomber jacket and in the fall with my black leather jacket.
Definitely. In fact, I was thinking of trying this with the ATM one that I have that’s similar.
So happy you’re doing the Spring outfit a day for March. I really enjoy this series that you’ve done with Cyndi. I love this elevated casual look and a fan of P448’s and animal prints so this look resonated with me.
