I posted this a few years ago and thought it would be fun to republish this week.
It’s always fun to be festive for the holidays, but festive doesn’t have to mean cheesy either.
Remember these?
Please, just don’t.
You can be festive and still maintain your dignity. This year, try something like this instead.
Or this?
Of course, you should feel free to go all out and dress up in costume, if that’s your bag. But if you’re going to to the office or to volunteer at your kids’ school in street clothes, go for something with a bit of chic!
Bag over my head. LOL. I never really was one that mastered chic. In fact, I have that sweater.
Your ideas are great, I will have to remember them for next year 🙂
JENNNNN!!!! You do NOT have that sweater! SAY YOU DO NOT.
lol…….
BAZINGA! God, no. I could never pull that one off in a million! Curious, though, where the top in the first photo is from? That is really cute.
I don’t know, it’s old – I found it on Polyvore a few years ago. I just refurbished the images from an old post. It’s cute, though, right?????
It is very cute. That color is one that actually looks good on me, so I would actually wear it.
I will have to do some internet browsing. Maybe they have something similar in a cranberry that I could wear at Christmas.
fine, no ugly sweater 😉 love the looks you picked
Haha, I’m reminded of my first couple of years of teaching in the mid to late 90s when all of us teachers were sporting the lovely holiday sweaters. My husband was mortified but I just had to keep with the trend at school. Those sweaters are long gone now, but my hubby and I hosted an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party a couple of years ago and had a great time… unfortunately we had to hit up the thrift store since I had gotten rid of mine.
