My Favorite Everyday Fashion Jewelry

A while back, I shared a post on Everyday Jewelry Worth Investing In, where I focused on fine jewelry and designer pieces I wear on repeat. Many of those were gifts from my mom and my husband over the years, pieces I plan to keep forever and eventually pass down to my daughters.

While I wear those pieces often, fashion jewelry also plays a role in my daily rotation. When I want my accessories to make more of a statement, experiment with trends, or add fresh layers to an outfit, I tend to lean into more accessible brands.

Fashion jewelry can be tricky, especially if you want pieces that feel current yet still polished. Not all fashion jewelry is created equal. Some pieces look great at first but tarnish quickly, while others feel lightweight (in a not-so-good way) or simply don’t hold up to regular wear.

I’m still very selective about what I add to my jewelry box. Quality matters to me, especially since I frequently mix these pieces with my fine jewelry. I want them to wear well and hold up, while still being affordable enough to update regularly.

Today, I’m sharing the brands and pieces I’ve come to trust — stylish, well-made options that are worth adding to your everyday rotation.

Brands I Trust for Fashion Jewelry

Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of fashion jewelry. Some pieces have held up beautifully, while others didn’t last past a season. A few brands I consistently return to for quality, design, and wearability include Madewell, Jenny Bird, Stella & Dot, Anna Beck, and J.Crew. I’ve also recently discovered Lili Claspe and Jane Win.

These are the brands that immediately come to mind when I think of stylish pieces that feel substantial, polished, and stand up well to regular wear.

Everyday Necklaces & Pendants

Necklaces are where I tend to do the most layering. A great pendant or chain instantly pulls a look together, even with something as simple as a sweater and jeans. I’m especially drawn to pieces that can be worn solo but also mix easily with other layers.

Jane Win HOPE JW Original Pendant Coin

I love the symbolism behind Jane Win’s pieces, and they’re beautiful too. It has a beautiful weight to it and feels far more elevated than typical fashion jewelry. I often wear it alone and sometimes I layer it with a shorter chain link necklace for a little extra dimension.

Stella & Dot Alex Link Chain Medallion Charm Necklace Bundle

Stella & Dot Alex Link Chain Medallion Charm Necklace // Lili Claspe Cuff Bracelet // Splendid Christa Sweater c/o (S) // FRAME Modern Pocket Wide Leg Jeans (30) // Dolce Vita Alenna Perf Slingbacks

I’ve recently rediscovered Stella & Dot, and I’m really enjoying their mix of timeless yet modern pieces. This Alex Link Chain has enough presence to wear on its own, but it also works beautifully styled with a charm, like the Three Graces Medallion, an oversized gold pendant with subtle pavé shimmer. I love this pairing because it creates a statement that still feels refined and easy.

Stella & Dot Multi Rondelle Necklace

This necklace is one of those effortless finishing touches. It adds interest without competing with bolder earrings (when I choose to wear them), and the mixed-metal design makes it incredibly versatile.

Nordstrom T-Bar Pebble Pendant Necklace

Nordstrom has some hidden gems in their jewelry selection, like this mixed-metal pendant with a faux toggle detail. It has a slightly bolder presence than my everyday chains, so I love wearing it when an outfit needs a bit more visual interest.

Go-To Everyday Earrings

Earrings are a non-negotiable for me. I wear them every single day, no matter what — even if it’s just a small stud or a mini hoop. When dressing up, I enjoy a bit of a statement earring, but I never wear anything overly large. I just prefer more understated pieces.

I tend to gravitate toward pieces that feel lightweight, polished, and easy enough for all-day wear. I’ve also always been a huge fan of hoops. Here are some of my current favorites:

Jenny Bird Florence Earrings

These are such a great example of statement-meets-wearability. They’re lightweight but still feel substantial, and they add a modern, sculptural touch without overwhelming the rest of an outfit.

Jenny Bird Tome Hoops

Barbour Beadnell (US 8) // J.Crew Rollneck Cable Sweater c/o (S) // Jenny Bird Tome Hoops // Tom Ford Wallace sunnies

These are quite small, but perfect for when I want just a little something more than my diamond studs. I often wear them to workouts or with a sweatshirt for an easy, casual day at home.

Lili Claspe Elsa Shield Earrings

Lili Claspe Elsa Shield Earrings (also at Nordstrom) // EVEREVE Marilyn Cardigan (M) // FRAME Pixie Arrow (30P)

These are my go-to when I want more of a statement earring. They add a slightly bolder, more sculptural touch while still feeling lightweight and wearable. I reach for them when I want something a bit more distinctive, but not overpowering. I have the silver version, but they’re also available in gold.

Bracelets I Reach For Most

Bracelets are my finishing touch. I love how they add a bit of personality and polish, especially with shorter-sleeve tops. I’m a big fan of a bold cuff because it’s such an easy one-and-done (and especially on trend right now), but I also love layering a few smaller pieces.

Madewell Organic Wide Cuff Bracelet

Madewell Organic Wide Cuff (also at Nordstrom) // Stella & Dot Alex Gold Link Chain Necklace & Three Graces Medallion // J.Crew Cashmere Cable Cardigan c/o (M) // Celine sunnies

This shiny silver cuff is my newest addition. I love the organic silhouette, and it’s a fantastic price point.

Lili Claspe Adva Cuff Bracelet

Lili Clasp Adva Cuff // Clare V. Moyen Messenger // Tom Ford Selby Sunglasses // Eden Button Front Sweater (M)

This piece has a similarly modern, organic feel, with soft rippling waves and a sculptural shape. It’s a bit more of an investment, but truly a beautiful piece.

Jenny Bird Ola Bangle

I’ve had this piece for a while. It has a beautiful organic shape, but it’s more subtle than my larger cuffs. The hinge clasp feels secure and substantial, and it slips on easily. A lovely everyday piece.

Monica Vinader Beaded Stone Bracelet

Monica Vinader Beaded Stone Bracelet (also at Nordstrom) // Lab Grown Bezel Set Bracelet (also at Nordstrom) // Deco Paper Clip (also at Nordstrom) // Deco Link Chain Bracelet (sold out) // John Hardy Crossover Ring

Most of my smaller layering bracelets tend to run on the pricier side. Monica Vinader is a favorite brand of mine, although I feel like her pieces lean more toward demi-fine or accessible luxury. During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I treated myself to a small arm party from Monica Vinader.

I like them a lot, but they feel a little too understated even for me. I’d love to build a stack that mixes fine jewelry and luxury pieces for a look that feels a bit more substantial, but they do add up, and I haven’t taken the plunge just yet.

Fashion jewelry is one of my favorite ways to refresh my look without reinventing my wardrobe. The right pieces add personality, polish, and interest, and when chosen thoughtfully, they can hold up beautifully alongside fine jewelry. I hope this gives you some ideas if you’re looking to update your own collection.

  1. My favorite piece of jewelry right now is from Quince: their Freshwater Cultured Pearl Pendant Necklace. It’s simple and delicate, yet shows up well on my solid colored sweaters and tops. It appeals to me as I’m petite, and I’m pretty much a minimalist when it comes to jewelry. This necklace is so popular that it keeps selling out on Quince’s website, but they also restock it.

    1. That’s so pretty! I’m a southern girl and love pearls, but prefer understated versions. Thanks for sharing this! I’ve only recently started browsing Quince and haven’t checked out the jewelry yet. Have you had it long enough to tell how it will hold up quality wise?

  2. Love the silver cuffs. My favorite jewelry is from an artisan that is at my local farmers market. Precious stones, beads & metals bracelets/necklaces and each one is one-of-a-kind.

  3. I wear a lot of Kendra Scott. It’s good quality, and I’ve had very few issues with tarnishing, and no issues with stones popping out.

    1. I almost included them, but my daughters have both had issues with her stuff turning. I never did, though, so it could be they didn’t care for them as well as I do. I do like her designs.

  4. Jo Lynne did I read correctly that Victoria Emerson is going out of business ? I haven’t bought from them in awhile but I did like the pieces I had and still have a few from when you do a collaboration with them

  5. Very helpful post. I mainly wear this type jewelry but found some doesn’t hold up like you said, so love having your recommendations that do hold up and in one place to refer back to. Thanks.

  6. I purchased the silver t-bar necklace from Nordstrom a while back. I gave one as a gift and another friend loved mine so much she ordered one. I love that necklace. It goes with so much. It’s great quality! I have a few earrings from Evereve as well based on your recommendations. I prefer simple, minimalist jewelry as well.

  7. I have a couple of bold silver cuff bracelets. One is similar to the one you’re wearing. I’m going to start wearing them again.

  8. I really like the Jenny Bird pieces you featured but I haven’t bought anything from her yet. My favorite jewelry lately has come from Miranda Frye. She has some fine jewelry but most of her pieces are considered “demi-fine”. I have several fine jewelry (at really great prices) and fashion jewelry from Quince. I am very impressed with their quality.
