Tell me about the Michael Kors leather jacket…will you keep it? Fit, comfort? My leather jackets are moto style, but I’ve always admired a simple black zip up one you had years ago (maybe you still have it?)
It’s beautiful! I tried it on for IG Stories last night. The small fits fine over a tee but I may need to size up to wear it over a sweater. Not sure I’ll keep it, I will keep it or the Andrew Marc, but I can’t decide which.

It’s newer to me, but I love their designs, and they are nice quality for vegan leather.
Great outfit inspirations! I got the Steven Madden boots, one pair of jeans and sweater. Few items for my husband, will be combing thru your site for a few more items. I need winter sweaters or tops. Purged a large amount of mine. Need to be more selective! Not my strong suit! lol
It takes practice! But once you purge, try to live with what’s left for a while to determine what you really need. Then make a list and shop from the list. 🙂
I ordered the Caslon swing jacket in navy. Living in Houston it can be a fall and winter jacket for me. Can’t wait to get it! I am also eyeing the Jo Malone perfume sampler set to try. Have you tried any of those scents?
Hi Nadine, I just purchased the Caslon swing jacket, as well. I live in northeast Texas, and it should take me into November. I used to live in Katy, and I remember (and miss) those very brief and mild winters!
A North Texan here! I also ordered the swing jacket in navy. I think it will be perfect for fall, and spring.
I haven’t, I have only had their bathroom diffuser and hand soap.
Another Houstonite here and just ordered the Caslon swing jacket in olive and beige/tan. Not sure if I’ll keep both but maybe: love swing cut jackets. And yes, this probably works for 75% of our winter. (Am I tempting fate to say that? I do NOT want another Arctic Blast!)

I have one fairly big order en route. Early this morning I placed an order for the Caslon jacket in the ivory pristine, and I ordered two sizes to make sure I get the proper fit. Since the Madewell navy handbag is out of my price range, I found a similar one on Amazon, so I’ll see if I like it. I know that you can’t wait to have Becca safely back on US soil and to hear all about her trip. What an experience! Have a great weekend!

I got the Paige Billy high waist straight jeans–love high waist–hope it fits as I don’t usually spend a lot on jeans. I was going to get the knee high suede boots but got distracted with the SE Barrett Harness bootie in dark brown–I know I will get much more use out of the bootie. Just hope they’re comfortable and the heel not too high–love the stirrup on them. Very tempted on the button up leather jacket—–hmmm
Let me know how you like the Billy. I was thinking about going back and getting them. That button up leather jacket is a really nice piece, I like that it’s different but also seems to be a classic style that won’t look dated in the next year or two. I’d be curious to see what you think if you try it.
The two items I was most interested in, the Marqaux Downtown bootie in the black leather and the Barbour Lavendar Hooded Waterproof coat in the Olive color, were both sold out before I could shop.
My first order was mostly practical , but I am keeping all of it, Paige Syrie top (will try on for my husband but I liked it), Nest Diffuser Set, Clinque Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm, Voluspa Blue Candle Set, Bombas socks, and Natori Bliss Briefs (get these every year).
My second order are things that I don’t have high hopes for but thought I would give them a try. SE Lucca loafer in Ivory but I really want the Pinto Brown. What are your thoughts are the ivory color? Going to see if the brown comes back in stock. I also ordered Chantelle Briefs (for at least the 3rd straight year), Norstrom Pull On Ponte Trousers in Grey Dark Heather (wanted the black), Save the Duck Livette Puffer, and the Lauren Ralph Lauren Diamond Quilted Coat. Oh, I had the Barbour Hebrides jacket on my wishlist from the get-go and I liked the way it looked on you but I think I would need a 4 and it is sold out. I knew Barbour would go fast.
Made sure I went back to your blog and clicked on a photo before I placed both orders. I am almost 63 , my husband is retired, and I am finding that my lifestyle is more casual than ever and that I just don’t need that much right now. Dallas is warm/hot until Nov. so it will be months before I need a sweater. Seriously considering knee high boots but prefer a block heel, although the Paige boots with the kitten heel look pretty, and want more of a classic style than western vibe.
Also in the market for a straight, cropped jean in a lighter wash and nothing in the sale fits the bill.
Just want to say that I appreciate the time you put into the try-ons and the descriptions of the items and why it worked or didn’t. So helpful when trying to decide what to order.
I didn’t know Margaux was part of the sale! I can’t believe the price on those boots. I paid more than than for my Margaux ballet flats, lol.
I love the ivory loafers, actually, but only you can say if you’ll actually wear them or not. Glad to hear my coverage was helpful!
The price on the Margaux boots is really good especially because they are currently on their website for full price. I only saw one blogger that featured them so I thought I might get lucky but no such luck.

I don’t. I have a hard time with loafers. They don’t seem to work well with my wardrobe.
I hadn’t planned on ordering anything from Nordstrom because I had done enough damage at Amazon. Then you posted those cute converse sneakers last night & that was the end of that. I ordered 2 sizes to see which fit better & a pair of Kut from the Kloth jeans that were on sale. Fingers crossed either or both work for me. Thanks for your detailed posts!
