Pink Ruffle Neck Pullover in Arizona
Hello, hello! Do you have whiplash yet? I’ve been alternating between outfits we shot in Philly and Scottsdale, and today we’re back to palm trees and mountain scenery.
This look is one I would wear just about anywhere in the springtime — to church, to lunch with friends, for a trip to the mall, or a school event for one of the kids. It’s that versatile.
I found this ruffle neck sweater at J.Crew, and I built the look around it.
I love this shade of pink with both white and blue denim, so I decided to incorporate both into this outfit.
What, you don’t squat down by the pool fully dressed for a picture every day?
Me either, haha! But Jacqueline thought it looked cool. It really does show all the colors and textures of the outfit really well.
This sweater is a great weight for spring, in that you can wear it now and still wear it when the weather warms up.
It comes in a bunch of colors, and of course the pink is the one selling out. I can’t win, I tell ya!
The other colors are nice, too, though. In fact, I also purchased the grey. I think the ruffle detail and chevron texture are so pretty. For size reference, I’m wearing the small.
It has a shorter fit, so it will work well with high rise jeans, although I wore it with my usual mid-rise white skinnies, and it works fine.
While the sweater is beautiful on its own, it also layers nicely under a denim jacket.
I’ve shared these shoes before, and you’ll probably be seeing them a lot this spring.
I love the how the cheetah print adds another element of interest to the look, and they’re very comfortable and easy to wear all day.
My Paige Verdugo ankle skinnies probably need no introduction. They have such a good fit, and the denim is thicker than most.
For size reference, I went up up to a 30, and I typically wear 29 in Paige. Light colored jeans are less forgiving than black and indigo, so I often end up sizing up in white.
My only accessory besides the ring I always wear was my gold double hoop earrings. I felt like there was enough going on with the ruffle neck, the texture of the blouse, the denim jacket, and cheetah print shoes.
Unfortunately the sweater I’m wearing doesn’t have a lot of sizes left in the pink, but you can easily wear one of the other colors with this look. They’re currently 30% off with code SUNNY.
Or if you like this color combination, try it with a different pink sweater. I rounded up some other options at the end of the post.
