The Best 4th of July Sales 🇺🇸

Happy Independence Day to my stateside friends! Today I’m rounding up the best 4th of July sales from around the Web in both home and fashion.

It’s crazy to think that this time last year, I was neck-deep in packing and moving. Now we’re all moved in and decorated, and this house is really starting to feel like home.

So let’s talk 4th of July sales! This is a great time to round out your summer wardrobe, as most of these prices are about as low as they’re going to get, and sizes are starting to sell out.

The BEST 4th of July Sales

These are all the usual suspects — the retailers I typically frequent — and the sales are pretty generous. I tried to curate my favorites for each brand, but if you are looking for something specific, just click through and search for what you need.

ANN TAYLOR // 50% off full price styles with code FOURTH plus extra 60% off sale styles.

I’m loving their dresses this summer, and they have some nice polished looking tops as well that would be great for work wear.

BLOOMINGDALES // Take an extra 30% off sale items labeled “EXTRA 30% OFF: DISCOUNT APPLIED IN BAG” and take an extra 50% off clearance items labeled “EXTRA 50% OFF: DISCOUNT APPLIED IN BAG.”

The prices below do not reflect the final discount. They’re at least an additional 30% off when you add to cart.

BODEN // Up to 60% off summer styles. Prices as marked.

Boden is a new addition to my sale roundup this year. I never shopped there much before — at least not for the last 10 years or so, but I’m really glad I rediscovered them. I like how they combine classic styles with extra details, and the quality is really good. Plus you don’t see their clothing on everywhere like you do with some other retailers.

I’ve been impressed with just about all of her products I’ve tried, but these are my all-time favorites.

J.CREW FACTORY // 60%-70% off plus 50% off all kids styles. Some exclusions apply. Prices as marked. Extra 60% off clearance with code SPARKLE.

LOFT // FREE SHIPPING (no minimum) + 60% off select summer styles and 40% off everything else!

I really tried to keep my recommendations pared down, but there are so many cute things at LOFT this summer, this is as pared down as I got.

MACY’S // 20 – 50% off + extra 10-20% off with code FOURTH for a total savings of 35 – 60% off. PLUS The Great Sandal Sale is on with 40% off select styles through 7/7/19.

NORDSTROM // Tons of summer items are newly reduced in their sale section right now.

Honestly, I’m underwhelmed by Nordstrom’s current sale section, but I know they’ll make up for it next week when the Anniversary Sale goes live!

This is what I came up with:

OLD NAVY // Up to 60% off everything.

SOCIAL THREADS // 20% off with code FIREWORKS; exclusions apply.

Home Decor

I didn’t round up top picks because home decor is really not my thing, but I thought these sales were worth mentioning.

PIER 1 IMPORTS // Extra 25% off regular price, sale, and clearance with code FIREWORKS.

I love Pier 1 for home decor and accessories, and they have the best throw pillows.

POTTERY BARN // Buy more, save more PLUS free shipping! Use code SAVE MORE.

I love their curtains and decor items, and we have a few pieces of their furniture as well. Oh, and their sheets are the only ones I buy. I need new wine glasses, so I may take advantage of this sale and order some of those.

WAYFAIR // 4th of July Blowout: Shop all sales.

Last summer, I think a box arrived from Wayfair almost every day! I’ve slowed down on home decorating, but they’re still the first place I look for rugs, lighting, and wall decor. I’ve also found some nice inexpensive furniture pieces there as well.

  1. Happy 4th of July 🎊 🇺🇸!  Wow, there are a lot of good sales going on.  The only piece of clothing I am still searching for is a white top with a side tie or banded bottom to wear with my 2 maxi skirts.  I had no idea what a challenge it would be to find one 🙃.  I hope y’all have a nice day!  It will be a very quiet day and night for us, which is okay.  Our core group will be celebrating with fireworks and a bonfire next weekend, when everyone is home from their trips this week.

  2. Happy 4th! 🇺🇸🎉🎆🎇. I can relate to the getting old part!  We always went to see the local fireworks but not anymore.  We got tired of fighting the traffic & having to leave a few hours beforehand just to get a good vantage point!  And like you said, there are always “amateur”  ones around (my sons-in-law/nephews)!   Good sale info!  I added those Lucky Brand sandals from Macy’s to my cart.  Don’t really need them but I see you’ve styled yours a few times. When I see the Sale word, I’m in, but after looking at my filled closet, I need to be OUT!  Apparently I must think I’m going to be a fashion blogger & need to stock pile a wardrobe…..yikes.  For my lifestyle & what I actually end up wearing, well, let’s just say I’ve got enough. So I really enjoy getting fresh ideas from you on how to style what I’ve already got!  Enjoy your day!

    1. I’m right there with you…on the 4th of July festivities, sales and thinking I’m a fashion blogger.  I’ve got enough clothes… oh and same name too!

  3. Happy July 4th. So thankful to live in the land of the Free! Thank you for all you do for us! You have been a big help to me on how to dress and how to shop. I love seeing everything on you rather than a stock photo or mannequin.. Have a Blessed safe Independence day!
God bless you and your family!! 😇

  4. Happy 4th! 🎆🇺🇸 We awoke to an earthquake this morning! I thought my vertigo was acting up 🤪 as my coffee was sloshing out of my cup, the kitchen table was moving and the floor was rolling! Life in California! It’s beautiful weather though….sunny, breezy, and 78 degrees!
I have a request for the Nordstrom sale: I’m shopping for a new watch and would love to know what will be included in the sale. Thanks!

      1. Hahahaha…….it’s still nerve wracking for sure!  especially when it always makes me realize we don’t have a fully stocked earthquake kit at the moment. (No batteries in the flashlights and no bottled water in there right now! And they say we should always keep a pair of shoes under the bed in case there’s broken glass or debris on the floor, but I never have my shoes nearby! Lots to think about.) When I was just 4 1/2 years old my family lived in the San Fernando Valley of CA and experienced the 1971 earthquake that ran along a fault line running right through our city. Apparently as the story goes, the heavy curtain rod hanging on the window above my bed, fell down just after I sat up in bed during the shaking. My parents say I sat up just at the right moment otheise it would’ve hit me right in the head. My mom and dad were in the doorway of my room and watched it happen before they could get to me! I remember our dog stepped in broken glass and was bleeding all over the place and I have vivid memories of my mom crying because the China cabinet tipped over and all her wedding china fell out and laid broken all over the dining room. Yep, we do try to learn to go with the flow and “roll with it” 🥴

  5. I’m so glad you said you weren’t going to parades or fireworks and that it seems like too much work. That exactly how I feel!  We’ve spent a nice day at home, grilling and hanging out and maybe we’ll watch some fireworks on TV. Too much traffic, parking issues and crowds at fireworks and beaches.
I also realized why I’m always  shopping saturated by the time the Nordstrom sale hits.  With all the summer sales, one spent too much. Trying to curb my spending this year as I don’t need summer stuff.
Also, to note as a PSA. If you buy something on sale at Boden, you need to return it within 7 days to get your money back.  I like there things and they have free shipping and returns but you have to be on top of it.  No hemming and hawing.

    1. I think at Boden you have 7 days to return sale merchandise, and 90 days to return full price items, for a full refund.

Nordstrom carries some Boden styles online and in their stores. I like buying from Nordstrom – returns can be made at their store, and they always have free shipping.
