My first ever Thursday Thirteen…
Thirteen Reasons I Love Being A Mom
1) Sticky, sugary kisses.
2) Morning wake-up snuggles.
3) Constant companionship.
4) Shopping for cute kids’ clothes like this and this and this.
5) Kid snacks in the pantry that I’d never buy for myself. Like these and these.
6) Identifying with my mom and gaining understanding for her decisions through the years.
7) Recognizing my attributes in each of my children.
8) Seeing my Husband in each of our children.
9) Kissing on that baby milk-white skin.
10) Little warm bodies climbing in my bed in the wee hours of the morning.
11) Unconditional love X 3.
12) Watching their little personalities evolve.
13) Driving a minivan. Haha. Kiddin’. Just checking to see if you were paying attention.
Great list. I really liked #6 and #12! I can identify.
I agree with #6 and #2. Love the morning snuggle. But not so crazy about #10. That’s when I say “Go over and snuggle with Daddy!”
Cute list!
Oh that #6. I like it, and then again it makes me so mad. Why does my mother ALWAYS have to be right? Sheez. 😉
I love reading about a mother’s love. It makes me want to hug mine even more.;-)
My 3yr old is a big snuggler…I love it!
All very good reasons. And quite honestly, I love my minivan–not that I would pass up the chance to cruise around in a sports convertible:)
perfect list!
Blessings,
Karla
Welcome to Thursday Thirteen! I *almost* did this very topic today. And I love Gap Kids clothes . . . a little TOO much.
While we’re on the topic of kids snacks that are super yummy…have you tried Earth’s Best Organic Letter of the Day Cookies? 🙂
