Hi Jo-Lynne! Thanks for hosting! This week I’m sharing Spaghetti and Meatballs.
I hope you have a wonderful week!!
Thank you for hosting! It was so nice for you to have a weekend retreat 😀
I love that we have a dining hall to eat in, because life with three littles 5 and under is just kinda rough. But this time of year makes me want to cook lovely, hearty dinners. Maybe I’ll mix things up and actually cook some this week. 🙂 Chattavore (local food blogger) just posted a beef stew recipe that I can’t stop thinking about! http://www.chattavore.com/2013/11/06/guinness-beef-stew/
That looks good! And dining hall? How did you swing that one? LOL!!!
We are dorm parents at the private high school where my husband teaches. So we live in a boys’ dorm. Lots of goods and bads! The dining hall is mostly a plus. 🙂
Ah. Gotcha. I didn’t know that!!
That beef stew sounds yummy. We are having a taco casserole, pesto chicken and now beef stew. Have you tried Scharr multigrain ciabatta. Omg greatest gluten free roles ever. You can get them at Wegmans too. Always have them with soup and spaghetti. They are a huge hit here. http://www.schar.com/products/us-bread/multigrain_ciabatta
I do like those! I usually buy Udi’s but I have had Scharr and I enjoy them as well.
Wished I went to the retreat, saw the picture posted and looked like you guys had a blast. Shrimp and Grits looks nice, but confession – I’ve never had grits.
You MUST try them. I mean it. This recipe in especially good. My mom had them when she was here (I had leftovers so I made eggs and grits for breakfast a few days that week) and she was dying for the recipe. TRY IT! STAT! 🙂
Those roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon sounds intriguing! I’m not usually a fan of Brussels sprouts, but I think I’d like to try these!
I never thought I liked them until someone made them like this for me. I was an instant convert! 🙂
