As most of you know, I’m a denim girl through and through, but there are some days when I really just don’t want to pull on pants that button and zip. For those days, I turn to joggers… although I usually still manage to sneak some denim in there somewhere!

I have three pair of joggers that I wear pretty much interchangeably — the Lululemon Align Jogger, Zella Live In Pocket Jogger, and Vuori Performance Jogger. I like them all, but there’s one problem. They’re all black.
Which is fine because I’m a huge fan of black, and black joggers go with practically everything. But I decided it was time to integrate some color into my jogger collection, so I recently added the Vuori Performance Jogger in Terracotta Heather to my closet. These are going to be a welcome addition to my jogger rotation!

If you’re not familiar with Vuori joggers, these are the most buttery soft, delicious pants, and I think this terracotta hue is so pretty for a change. For size reference, I wear a medium in these joggers to get a more relaxed fit. You can also find them at Nordstrom.
I styled these joggers for a casual day of travel or running errands — with a white t-shirt and fashion sneakers, topped off with a denim jacket. This fail-proof combo works every time.
I recently picked up this KUT from the Kloth denim jacket. It’s a little bit longer than my Vince Camuto denim jacket, which was discontinued earlier this year. The fabric is also a bit stiffer, but it still has a good amount of stretch, and it has a flattering shape to it — not too boxy.
I’m also wearing the ATM schoolboy v-neck tee in a size medium. This tee has a cool slub cotton texture and a slightly shrunken, boxy fit for that “borrowed from the boys” vibe.
I also want to call attention to this bag. This is the Everlane Studio Bag in light taupe. I’ve had it for a while, and I keep meaning to feature it because it’s a great size for everyday, and I love the design with the large slip pocket on the front.
It’s 100% leather with a microsuede lining, and it’s made in Italy. You can adjust the shoulder strap to your desired length.
And I’m wearing a pair of P448 John sneakers to complete this casual, mom-about-town fall outfit. Every time I get a new pair of these so I have a current item to feature, they sell out in a couple of months.
This pair was part of the #NSale, and they’re on sale again, but sizes are limited. If you want them, keep an eye out for restocks. Even if they’re showing sold out right now, I see random sizes popping up here and there. I usually wear a 39 in this shoe, so I recommend sizing up if in between.

This is a timely post as I’m wearing black joggers today– I had PT this morning, which is my excuse to stay in them all day. LOL. I’m tempted to order the green Vuori as I’ve been wanting to try them out. How are the pockets, Jo-Lynne? I’m always wary of slanted pockets as they tend to bulge. Not a good look for me.

LOVE the terra-cotta color. Now that they are at Nordstrom too, I might try them. I didn’t want to hassle with buying them from the other company with return. Nordstrom return so easy. I’m 5’3″ about 120lbs. Do you think small or medium for me. I wear a size 4 pant and jean or 27 jean. Lately I’ve been having to buy 2 sizes of everything and its getting old. Or maybe I’d need to try the XS and small? Oh to decide. LOL I love this outfit you styled. So me. Have a great day. PS I took the XS in the Zella Live in jogger along time ago when you styled them if that helps you know size I’d take in the Vouri. All my joggers are black too
I am the exact size you are, just a little heavier, and I have 3 pairs of Vuori joggers. I bought Small last year for two pairs, black and grey, and they fit fine, but this year I decided to try black in XS after losing a few pounds and I like the fit better. They’re not tight at all, just less baggy and a little slimmer on me.
Katherine…..Thanks so much for replying. This helps. I think maybe I should just order both the XS and SM to compare as it seems like its a matter of the look one wants. With ordering from Nordstrom it won’t be a problem returning. Thanks again, appreciate your information.
I was going to recommend the size small, seeing that I wear the medium in these and small in Zella. But Katheryne is making me think you may want to order both XS and S and compare. I ordered both S and M the first time I ordered Vuori joggers and both fit but I liked the extra room in the M.
Jo-Lynne…..Thanks so much for the reply. I had thought of Small also but the more I think about it and yes from Katheryne’s comment too, I should just order both the XS and Small. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done this from Nordstrom in the last year. But, it is nice to compare and get the right fit, especially spending $84. I’m going to order now. I just love the terra-cotta color, as so tired of black joggers and leggings.
Oh my goodness! I have burgundy Vuori joggers and they are the best, most comfortable material-hands down! I love my Lululemon and Zela, but I’m asking for a new pair of black Vuori joggers for Christmas!!! Love them so much!!!

I have a pair of black Vuori joggers and I love them! Those terra cotta are really cute too, and you styled them so cute. I got really lucky recently and picked up a pair of those Paige green mayslies (sp?) at Nordstrom Rack for about $60! They were the only pair there and happened to be my size. They are super comfy too and a nice combo of Jean meets jogger
