Beyond Basic Sweatshirts for Fall

I love a sweatshirt with fun surprise details, and Evereve has so many good options right now. I’ve got a full roundup at the end of this post, but first I want to show you a few I just added to my fall closet.

Taylor Stripe Trim Sweatshirt (S) // AG Mari Straight Ankle Jeans (29) (budget option) // VEJA Esplar Sneaker (39) // YSL sunnies (option) // Gucci Disco handbag (budget option)

This Taylor Stripe Trim Sweatshirt is perfection. If I could have designed my own, this would be it. First of all, it’s the perfect weight, not too thick and not too thin. The 67% Modal, 28% Cotton, 5% Spandex Knit has a really nice feel to it, and it’s so soft inside.

Plus, the raglan sleeves soften my boxy shoulders, and it has a generous sleeve length with wide cuffs. The 22 1/2″ length is perfect for leaving untucked, so it’s easy to throw and and go and you don’t have to fuss with a half tuck. And then there’s that fun striped detail on the sides, along with small side slits.

I would say this top runs true to size; I have the small, and it’s a great fit, but I could size up for a more relaxed fit.

I styled it here with washed black AG Mari straight leg jeans that are from last year, but this pair is very similar. You can also find them at Nordstrom. And then I went with a simple white leather sneaker with black accents. I’ve had these VEJA Esplar sneakers for so many years, I’ve lost count, and they’re still one of my favorites.

Earlier this week in my post about the trending color red, I featured the LNA Joey Fleece Half Zip, which I also found at Evereve. It has a cropped fit with reverse seam details and an adjustable bungee hem, and it’s super soft and cozy inside.

I styled it in a similar way, with straight leg jeans and low profile leather sneakers, except that I went with a dark blue denim wash and white sneakers with midnight blue accents.

LNA Joey Fleece Half Zip (S) // MOTHER The Rider Slim Straight Ankle Jeans (29) (budget option) // Vince Oasis in Milk/Night Blue (39) // Jenny Bird hoops

In that post, I also featured the Evereve Mack Zipper Sweatshirt. I love the short sleeves and the zipper details along the sides, and it has a nice relaxed fit. I styled it with medium wash straight leg jeans and these fun red Puma sneakers.

Evereve Mack Zipper Sweatshirt (S) // Madewell Perfect Vintage Jeans (29) // Puma Easy Rider Vintage Sneakers (8.5) (option/option) // Gucci Disco handbag (budget option)

  1. Thinking of ordering the rust sweatshirt. If you raise your arms does your stomach show? I’m 5’6″ with longer arms, can’t decide if I should size up to a medium. I won’t dry it when I wash, so I don’t expect it to shrink. Thanks for advice.

  2. You definitely had an early start to your day. I really like the elevated sweatshirts that Evereve has, but I would only be able to have a couple of sweatshirts in my closet if I bought one from there. Have a great day!

  3. I bought the Hillary sweatshirt a few weeks ago and love it. I also bought the red LNA sweatshirt with the bungee cord at the same time. I am on the fence with that one as the reviews say that the fabric pills really bad. It’s too expensive to have that happen. For this reason, I haven’t removed the tags yet.

  4. l’m glad you featured the rust colored sweatshirt from Evereve. It’s been on my radar. Light to medium-weight sweatshirts are perfect for the milder winters where I live. From all you said about it, and how good it looks on you, I think that’s a winner!
