Eyelet Off-The-Shoulder Top Redux
I took a few of my new tops from my 27 Days of Spring Fashion series to Savannah, and I decided to style them differently and shoot a few new looks with some familiar pieces. One of my favorites was this eyelet off-the-shoulder top from my partnership with Lucky Brand.
For that post, I styled this top with light blue jeans and taupe lace-up block heel sandals for a casual look. I wanted to dress it up a bit for our dinner date at The Olde Pink House in downtown Savannah, so I paired it with my favorite white skinnies and these chestnut espadrille wedges, and I carried a leopard clutch.
This top also comes in black and white, but I think this shade of navy is so pretty. It’s currently on sale for $79.99 PLUS 40% off that. The discount is taken at checkout, and it comes down to $47.99.
Also, first time Lucky Brand customers can get $20 off your order of $50 or more if you shop through my referral link. You will get an email with a code to use for the $20 off, but this only works for first time customers. I apologize for any confusion earlier!
I opted for big chandelier earrings instead of a necklace, although I think a simple choker or short pendant might have been a nice addition to the outfit.
I also wore this pretty Kendra Scott cuff bracelet that has been discontinued. I also managed to break it while I was taking it off later that night. Boohoo!!! I was stretching it to get it over my wrist, and one of the little bands snapped right off. All that to say, if you have one of these, be careful taking it on and off!
I wanted to wear a dressier shoe — I had in mind a nude strappy sandal with a stiletto heel — but I knew I needed to be able to do some walking, so I decided on these trendy Marc Fisher espadrilles in the chestnut color. I like how the color works with the leopard clutch, so at least there’s that!
Also, I’m super excited to tell you that I found a strapless bra that I love. I know, “I found a strapless bra that I love” said no one ever. But I just said it.
The one I had was okay, but it didn’t stay up very well, and I’ve lost some weight since I bought it so it was getting big on me. I decided I needed to find something better because I really like the off-the-shoulder and one-shoulder styles that are out right now, and I’m tired of bypassing the trend because I don’t have the right bra.
This red carpet convertible bra by Wacoal is gives a nice shape, and it stays put without digging into my ribs. I wore it all over Savannah the night I wore this outfit, and it didn’t budge, and it wasn’t uncomfortable in the least. I almost forgot I was wearing a strapless bra. If you’re in the market for a strapless bra, I highly recommend this one. It runs fairly true to size, but if you’re in between two sizes, you probably want to go with the larger cup size.
Okay, that was slightly awkward, but I do get asked a lot for a strapless bra recommendation, and I’m glad I finally have one I can wholeheartedly endorse.
This was the perfect date night outfit for our first evening in Savannah. It’s comfortable and easy to wear, but it’s fun and on trend and a little bit sassy.
