Happy Friday, y’all! I’m currently in Dallas, TX at the RewardStyle Conference, and so far we’re having a blast. Feel free to follow along on Snapchat (jolynneshane) and Instagram!
A while back I wrote a post about neutral wedge sandals for spring, and I promised that a followup post on flat sandals was in the works.
I love a wedge sandal, but sometimes flats are simply the more practical choice. My favorite flat sandal this year is my Tory Burch Miller Flip Flop in nude patent.
My mom gave me a pair of white ones a few years ago for my birthday, and I wore them to death. At the end of the last summer, I promised myself to get a pair in nude for this year, so I took advantage of a Nordstrom Triple Points day a few weeks ago and made the purchase.
Even though it’s not quite warm enough for sandals yet in Philly, I’ve worn them quite a bit around the house and styled them with a few of my spring outfits. They’re cute with jeans, shorts, skirts, and casual dresses. I know they’ll be on repeat all summer long.
I’m all about the neutrals this year. I don’t know what it is, but they’re just so fresh and versatile, and they elongate the line of the leg — which is especially helpful in a flat shoe. I put together a roundup of cute flat neutral sandals at a variety of price points.
Remember that Bloomingdales is having their 25% off Friends & Family Sale, and Nordstrom is price matching both that sale and the ShopBop 25% off sale so the some of the prices below may actually be lower when you click through to the websites.
Neutral Flat Sandals for Spring and Summer 2016
Of course colors are fun too. I have a pair of pink braided Lucky Brand thong sandals that I love to add to neutral outfits for a pop of color, and I’m hoping to add one more pair of colorful flat sandals to my closet this summer, although I haven’t decided which pair. I actually ordered a couple of options when creating this post! I’ll keep you posted.
Here are a few I have my eye on.
Colorful Flat Sandals for Spring and Summer 2016
Which ones are your favorites??
It’s Friday, so that means linkup day! You’ll find more great spring style inspiration here.
Fashion Friday
I live in flat sandals all summer long!
For some reason I have this aversion to flip flops—they remind me of when I was younger and we called them “thongs”! They were cheap, plastic shoes you wore to the beach and that was it! I know I need to get over it–ha ha (but in my defense, they don’t have much support for my old feet). Of course I’m willing to forgo support for those super cute blue fringe flats!!!
Have a great weekend !!
Thanks for hosting

I love flat sandals and I own a few pictured.
Hi Jo-Lynne, hope you are having a blast in Dallas. I was thrilled to see all the sandals you picked out because last night I was writing up my post on the new spring/summer sandals I got. Neutral is a great way to start! I got a nude T Strap with pyramid studs. I wear them all the time when it’s warm!!
Thanks for hosting!

I love the idea of these flat sandals (and thanks for sharing such a great variety), but my feet are so spoiled that just looking at how absolutely flat these sandals are makes them hurt. LOL! I think I’ll check the Orthaheel/Vionic site for similar styles that have a little more support. Have fun in Dallas!
I absolutely love these picks! I am going to be having a baby in the next 5 weeks so flat summer sandals are going to be a huge go-to for me. 🙂

What a great roundup of flats and sandals. Love the Tory Burch and I see that you wear them often, so they must be comfortable. I just bought a pair of Sam Edelmans similar to the orange ones you featured and they are in a neutral colour, so hoping I wear them a lot when the weather gets warmer.
Fun sandals!! I love some comfy cute options for summer.

Hello Jo-Lynne I have problems with my right foot and have a hard time wearing heals and certain shoes. I am going to miss your post on comfort shoes and sandals.
I definitely need some new flat sandals for the summer!! Thank you for the link-up and the inspiration!! =)
cute ! do you mind sharing the color of your polish? I love the natural look of it. Thanks.
You just can’t go wrong with Tory Burch.
So many cute options! I have worn mainly thong/flip flop style sandals for years and years (both beachy ones and dressier types). This year I wanted to shake things up and try flat sandals with a heel strap so I got the Lavinia pair from Target that you show in the neutral group. I love them! They are really so comfortable. And my 13yo daughter liked them so much that we ordered the dark brown pair for her. For a $20 pair of sandals, they are really fabulous!
I love flat sandals for summer. I want the Tory Burch that you’re wearing. I already have a few that you’ve shown, but just ordered two others from your post.
I hope you and Cyndi have a great time, along with your fellow bloggers.
If it’s sunny in Texas, please send sun to Indiana!
So many cute flat options – thanks for sharing!
Okay, I’m ready! Bring on the sandals, flip flops, warm weather, and pedicures. Ahh! Snow tomorrow?
Great round up, love them all. Thanks for the linkup and have a great weekend.

I can’t wait to get back into sandals. I love the gold ones with the little heel as I can’t wear completely flat sandals.

Another awesome roundup here! I may have mentioned before, I have a serious sandal addiction. I cannot get by with just a couple pair here in Texas either. I’ve either bought, ordered, or tried on at least 5 of the ones you have listed, not to mention the others I’ve tried. I’ve only kept 3 pair though because I’m trying to be good, lol. Actually, the only reason i even need sandals this year is I realized most of mine are dressy and my casual ones needed serious updating. DV by Dolce Vita used to be my go-to brand, but they seem to be nonexistent this year. Bummer.
You’ve inspired me to go shopping today! Well… I was going to go anyway but now I’m looking at shoes too 🙂 Thanks for hosting.
I love all of these! I am so much taller than my husband, so flats are a must.
So many classy flats to choose from. Can a woman have too many shoes?
I do not think so! 😉
love of all these….I waiting for this list thank you for posting this
so much flats…and i need this type of sandals because my wardrobe
collection is suits only in sandals!!
