Greetings and cheers to a long weekend!🍸 Yes, Labor Day Weekend is officially here, and the sales are pretty stellar this year. Rather than giving you a long list of retailer sales that you can find anywhere, I’m focusing in on my top picks and things I’ve worn that are on sale.
As of Monday morning, inventory is getting low on a lot of the items in this post, so I rounded up my favorite deals that are still in stock below.
My Favorite LDW Sales {Monday Edit}
Edwin Ryder Bootcut Jeans 45% off // This is a good deal on a great pair of classic bootcut jeans. Also, this off-the-shoulder top is 10% off.
Vince Scoop Neck Tank Dress 65% off // Such a fun and versatile dress, crazy discount.
Jenni Kayne Cashmere Fisherman Sweater 20% off // Jenni Kayne has some of the most gorgeous cashmere. I love this fisherman sweater in the ivory, and a lot of women love the cocoon cardigan. Use code LDW20.
Fidelity Denim High Waist Cutoff Denim Shorts 40% off // Love the longer inseam on these clean white cut-off shorts. They fit TTS. Also, this sweater vest is 10% off.

Frame Le High Raw Hem Ankle Straight Leg Jeans 40% off // A great pair of straight ankle jeans, and they have more of a mid-rise for ladies who prefer that.

Madewell Stovepipe Jeans in Banberry Wash 30% // These raw hem slim straight crops in the washed black are right on trend, and a more budget-friendly option to the Fidelity Cher that I wear so much. There is also this pair with a sewn hem, and they’re also available in petite and tall sizes. Use code LONGWEEKEND for 30% off.
Born Miarra Sandals 40% off // These are so cushy and comfortable, and very good quality. The navy turned out to be more versatile than I expected, but they come in other colors as well.

Thank you for this amazing post! You look so pretty in the outfit with the Evereve jacket and black jeans!
Thanks, Joan!
Can you tell me about the maroon striped sweater and neutral tennis shoes you’re wearing in your picture? Where are they from?
Sure! Here’s a link to the whole outfit: https://shopstyle.it/v/393
You look great in the outfit with the Paige black jeans! Thanks so much for the Amazon tip, just ordered a pair like those, unheard of price for Paige! Did not have any Paige jeans due to price, hope they will fit as I really needed a pair of updated black jeans.
I know, so weird how every size is priced so differently. Let me know how you like them.
The amazon description says they are velvet and dry clean only,. Enjoy.
I noticed that too right after I placed the order. The fabric content is identical to the pair in the Bloomie’s site which did not mention velvet. We’ll see.
In case the amazon pair is a bust they are 20% off on the Paige denim website this weekend.
Nancy, let us know! I just googled the style name and color and found those. I didn’t see the velvet part or compare fabric content. Inquiring minds want to know…
LOVE you in the top picture. That jacket color looks so great with the black jeans and the platform sandals. Great post. You put so much work into it. Must easier to navigate than just letting us know which stores have sales. Have a good trip to Nashville. What a fun place to go to college. I haven’t been there and would love to. Did you know Cyndi Spivey’s sister, Traci lives there? They just bought lots of land in the country with a house and pond on it. I just can’t believe its time for you to be looking at colleges again. Your kids were so much younger when I first started following you……2015. Have a great long weekend.
Yes, I did know that. They seem to love it there.
Thank you! I’ll be doing some shopping this weekend. You look great in everything. Has it been fun dressing a new body type? I never noticed what amazing shoulders you have. You seemed more of an hour glass and now an inverted triangle. It must be fun to shop for new styles and wear things you weren’t comfortable with before.
Thank you. It was more fun at first, but now that “things” have settled, I’m still bigger than I’d like. I’m kind of struggling with that, to be honest. But funny you say that about the inverted triangle. I have been looking at different body type information, and if I use shoulders as my top measurement rather than bust, I definitely lean that way. It’s kind of a tossup between hourglass and inverted triangle. Which makes sense as to why I’m always fighting my shoulders when I try on tops and sweaters. I feel like I mention them more in try-on hauls than I do my bust, even though that was a challenge as well.
I think a lot of people are a mix of body types. You look great in everything, so you’re doing it right! Funny you said you fight with your shoulders when dressing. I think they’re an asset. Don’t get down about your size. You look fantastic. Your body went through major surgery. I’m sure being in the fashion industry and trying on clothes each day contributes to how you feel. I appreciate your honesty and all the work you out into your website. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, yes, I realize that. I am so in tune with how everything fits and feels. 🙂 And I do like my shoulders, actually. I just realize when dressing that they are kind of “bossy” and I have to be careful about sleeve styles so they don’t overpower my frame. Enjoy your weekend!
Have a great time in Nashville! That’s where we live. There’s so much great stuff to do here. I hope your daughter loves it.
Where did you get the camel colored belt that you have on with the black jeans? I’ve been looking for that color.
Thanks!
I love Nashville; I’ve been many times. I kind of hope she loves it and wants to go to college there.
The belt is this one, but it is old – https://shopstyle.it/l/bLemc
Hi,
You look great in all the outfits today! But I don’t think the sales are great this LDW.
Wow!!!! You really did a lot of work on this sale round up. I was just thinking about the Navy Borne slides you recommended. I think its my best purchase this Summer and so unexpected. I love the Navy……has actually gone with so much and they are sooo comfortable. I highly recommend them and I got mine for $59.99 on first sale. Definitely will be pulling them out again come Spring. Our temps are going to be high 70’s to high 80’s and even a 91 thrown in there for the next 10 days, so hard to wear any Fall yet. I too need to purge my closet again. Seems like I just did that, but I find I wear a capsule wardrobe and the rest is just in the way. I’m trying to be more selective on what I buy. Looking forward to what you have in store for your blog for Fall. Last year you started your Christmas guide lists early and I really appreciated that. I usually start my Christmas shopping come Oct. 1. I have many to buy for and like to have it all complete before Thanksgiving, so I have selection and can then relax and focus on the REAL meaning of Christmas. You had the best gift guides. Crazy all your kids are back in school already. Seems so long ago we had the school schedule.
Yes I plan to start the gift guides early again this year. 👍🏻👍🏻
I am considering purchasing a Goyard St Louis tote, but can’t decide if I should get the PM or GM. What size do you have? Do you like that size? How does it compare (size and quality) to the LV Neverfull? Would you purchase it again? Thanks in advance for sharing your opinion and giving me a “mini review” of the bag.
I love it. It’s the GM. I mostly just use it for travel and if I want to bring my laptop along with me somewhere. It’s too big for everyday. My LV Neverfull is the MM size and that’s a better size for everyday. I think the quality is comparable between the two but I like that the goyard isn’t as commonly seen.
I have the LV Neverfull MM too (love that size for everyday), so thanks for the size comparison. Good to know that you think the Goyard GM is better for travel/too big for everyday. 😀
Yes, I like having both.
Looking for a link for your taupe colored retro looking sneakers. Can’t remember the brand name and don’t see it below the picture. Thanks!
Right here. I didn’t link because they aren’t on sale. They were part of NSale tho. https://shopstyle.it/l/bLjL9
Oh okay- thanks! They’re so cute on you, but maybe I’ll wait awhile for a future sale.
