Good morning! It’s already Day 5 of my 27 Days of Spring Fashion with Cyndi Spivey. I can hardly believe it. These style challenges always seem to fly by.
Today I’m moving away from workout gear and back to the type of outfit I’d wear out to dinner with my husband or to lunch with girlfriends. I have a couple of blogging conferences coming up, and this will be perfect for those as well.
Striped Cross-Back Tee $78 | nude pumps $99 (cheaper option)
similar black jeans $179 (the ShopBop sale ends tonight!!) or here’s a cheaper option
similar poppy hobo $325 (can’t find a cheaper option; looked everywhere, sorry!)
similar tassel necklace HERE and HERE
I scored this top at White House Black Market on a recent 30% off sale. I love the way it is shaped and the proportions it creates when paired with skinny jeans and heels. Or I could totally wear ballet flats with this outfit if I wanted to dress it down a bit. Pardon the crazy hair. It was windy the day we took these pictures!
The split back is a bit of a surprise without being immodest. It’s definitely not office wear, but it’s fun for a night out. If you had a special occasion, you could pair it with black pants for a dressier look. They call it a tee, but it seems dressier than that to me.
I added a pop of color with my coral hobo bag. It is no longer available, but this Rebecca Minkoff Isobel Hobo is very similar. I actually just ordered it in white on the ShopBop sale. It’s a tiered sale, so the more you spend, the more you save. I love that kind of math. Ha!
I styled the top with black jeans and nude pumps. I wanted something date night appropriate since I feel like I style so many casual outfits. But you could do flats and blue jeans or white jeans for a more casual look.
I love and adore these pumps. They’re $99 so sort of mid-range as far as pricing goes, but they are super comfortable.
I love White House Black Market for cute tops with interesting details. They run nice promotions from time to time if you watch. I placed an order during their last 30% off sale, and I picked up several really nice tops to add to my spring/summer wardrobe. Right now you can earn a $25 Style Perk to spend later if you spend $125 or more.
Now be sure to visit Cyndi to see the spring outfit she’s styling today!!!
