Top Ten in September 2022

Greetings, friends! I’m going to start rolling out my gift guides soon, but first I’m rounding up the products that were the most popular last month. I haven’t done one of these posts in a while, so it’s interesting see what’s resonating most with you all, now that fall is setting in.

Sadly, none of the bracelets from my Victoria Emerson X Jo-Lynne Shane Collection made the top ten, but they had a good showing altogether!

I hope everyone who placed an order was pleased. If anything didn’t work for you, reach out to their customer service and they’ll help you out. They are a small team, so sometimes it takes them a few days to respond, but they will take care of you.

If you didn’t get a chance to place an order yet, or you missed my post entirely, most are still available, and they’re still BOGO free! The reduction is automatically taken in cart.

Okay, moving on to September’s best selling products…

Top 10 Best Selling Products Last Month

According to my ShopStyle analytics, these were the 10 most popular products across my blog and social channels last month. They’re listed in typical Top Ten order, with the most popular one last.

#10. AG Farrah Fray Hem Bootcut Jean // I love a good flare, and these have the perfect lived-in wash in a comfortable stretchy denim. The raw hem keeps them on trend and also makes them easy to shorten should they be too long for you. These jeans just squeaked by and made it into 10th place. They were almost edged out by…

Madewell Vintage Flare // These are more of a rigid denim, but they’re still comfortable. They’re currently on sale for $99.50, with an additional 40% off that with code FALLYALL, and I recommend sizing down.

#9. LOFT Floral Everyday Crewneck Tee // I love the color palette on this floral tee; it’s flattering on most women and very much on trend this fall. It’s currently 30% off + LOFT styleREWARDS members get an extra 15% off.

#8. Gap Factory Ribbed Collared Sweater // This polo neck cotton sweater is right on trend and the perfect weight for transition season. It also comes in beige and olive green, and it’s on sale for $35.99, plus an extra 45% off with code GFCOZY.

#7. rag & bone Retro Sneakers // These trendy sneakers were an #NSale splurge, and they’re currently 25% off. I love this light sand suede for fall, and they come in 4 other colors. I had so many questions about how to style retro sneakers without looking frumpy that I wrote a whole post about it.

#6. LOFT Quilted Jacket // Quilted jackets are trending, and this is a great piece to throw on over a casual outfit outfit this fall. As an added bonus, it’s currently 30% off + LOFT styleREWARDS members get an extra 15% off.

#5. tarte Shape Tape Foundation & Brush // This full coverage foundation is my secret weapon to cover melasma, brown spots, and other skin discolorations that come along with aging. It’s very moisturizing and comes with an application brush too!

#4. Frame Le High Raw Hem Ankle Straight Jeans // These jeans are another #NSale purchase that is back on sale. I really like the cut of these. The 14″ leg opening is just wide enough to hang like a true straight, but they still have a slim silhouette.

#3. Mother The Dazzler Raw Hem Ankle Jeans // These jeans were also part of the #NSale, but I’ve had mine since last spring, and I’ve worn them a ton. The denim is super stretchy and comfy, and they’re a little slimmer and longer than the Frame pair above.

These are low inventory at Nordstrom, but there are several other washes in this same style available on sale at Bloomingdale’s right now. Some have finished hems, too.

#2. Jeffrey Campbell Velviteen Bit Loafer // I found these loafers when I was shopping in store a few weeks ago, and I was shocked by how soft and comfortable they are to wear. I love the croc effect leather and the horsebit hardware, but we warned, they do run narrow. I also recommend sizing up half.

#1. LOFT Floral Tie-Neck Blouse // Finally, this blouse is by far and away the best selling item from last month. I don’t know if it’s because it’s something different than what I usually wear, or because of the accessible price point, but it sold like hotcakes! If you missed it, it’s still fully stocked and currently 30% off + an extra 15% off for LOFT styleREWARDS members.

And that’s a wrap for September! I still have lots of fall fashion in the pipeline, and soon we’ll be talking about festive looks for all of those holiday gatherings that are coming up!

I’m meeting with Sydney later this week to plan my content for the next month, so let me know what types of events you have on the horizon and what you’re looking for in terms of outfits. I also plan to start rolling out gift guides later this week, so if you have any particular requests for that, send me an email or let me know in the comments.

  1. Christmas Day is a Sunday this year, so any outfits for church that day would be nice and then something more comfortable and casual to wear the rest of the day with kids and grands here and cooking.

  2. Love your outfit with the sharp looking loafers paired with the Frame jeans and sweater, also love the Madewell flared jeans. I think the sewed hem look more in place with flares/boot cut jeans; just pulled out a pair of Calvin Klein flares I had put in storage years ago, now they’re back right in style wearing them today! By the way, Savannah is styling with her pink harness!

  3. I love the look of the loafers on you, but I know they just aren’t my style. I am shocked that none of your VE bracelets made the top 10. I love the ones I purchased! I am going to look at the Gap cotton sweater, since it’s marked down so much. We really wanted some rain from Ian, but got nothing. You would be in Heaven down here, with the weather we are having. It’s definitely great porch sitting weather.

  4. Would love a post on girls’ trip to Vegas evening outfits. Thinking sparkly tops that can “fancy” up a normal jean/topper outfit. Walkable shoes are a plus! The sparkly tops could double for holiday gatherings.

  5. Love your blog, I have so many events coming up in November/December, would love to see you talk about company Holidat parties, this is all part of my husbands retreat weekend and Holidat party, invites come with dress suggestions of snappy casual, corporate holiday flare etc. not sure what it will be this year and no venue has been announced yet (last year we were at Downtown Disney) and then of course my company party will be at a resturant or someone’s home which is easy but idea’s are always appreciated.

  6. I am certainly happy with my jewelry purchase. I bought the Mixed Metal Wire Cuff bracelet and the Gold Coin Layer Necklace from your jewelry line, and I love them both. They are both beautiful, especially the bracelet.

  7. I love you in leather. I think you look smart in it! I don’t have anything to contribute bc im trying not to spend! lol! but i will keep tabs in case i need more tops! right now cashmere is my thing! so im not a saver, normally! I have expensive tastes. i want to be someone with a small wardrobe but everything looks impeccable. One can dream, right?

  8. Love this type of post, so beneficial! Can you tell me what size you have in the pink Vuori joggers and the ivory ribbed scoop neck sweater, need both in my closet. Thanks again for such a helpful post, a lot of work I know!
