5 Favorites {Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Edition}

Happy Monday, my friends! When this posts, Lord willing, we will be on our way to Maine!

Today is Prime Day, but I don’t have the bandwidth to cover one more sale, so I’m going to stick with Nordstrom Anniversary Sale coverage for today, if you don’t mind.

I may share some Amazon Prime fashion deals on my FB Page throughout the day as I see them (I’ll be in the car for 10-12 hours, so I may as well!) but for today’s blog post, I decided I’d do a special edition of 5 Favorites.

And yes, I know there are more than 5 products in this graphic, but they each represent a different category. Keep reading, it will all become clear…

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight

Now that I’ve had a chance to fully peruse the website, watch other people’s coverage, place a few online orders, and try on a lot more styles from the sale, I decided to round up what I feel are the best of the best.

For each of 9 categories, I’m sharing my 5 favorite items in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that are still available. (I tried to list things that are not sold out, but of course that can change in the blink of an eye.)

These aren’t necessarily personal purchases — although some are — but these are mostly items that I think are the best from the sale and that I highly recommend if you’re in the market for them.

5 Favorite #NSaleSweaters

I found the #NSale sweater selection this year a bit underwhelming, truth be told, but judging by how fast my favorites sold out, I guess they resonated with someone! I tried to pick 5 products that are still somewhat stocked, if not fully.

5 Favorite #NSale Denim

I thought the denim this year was pretty good. There were a lot of different styles — skinny, straight, boyfriend, flares, cropped, etc. Fortunately most of my favorites are still fully stocked!

5 Favorite #NSale Shoes

I was going to separate this into boots and shoes, but SO many sold out, I just combined them all here. I purchased all of these except the Frye boots, as I already have Frye boots that I love. Although, I must say, I prefer this new styling. It’s a little less Western and very classy.

5 Favorite Handbags

I really like the handbag selection this year. Narrowing it down to 5 was hard, yo! Did you snag any of these? I bought two, and I may have one (or two) more coming. *covers eyes*  I won’t keep them all, but I am due to update my fall bags, so… we’ll see.

5 Favorite #NSale Accessories

I thought this selection was a little underwhelming, but I did nab the Tory Burch watch and a new pair of earrings (not online).

5 Favorite Activewear

Loved the activewear that I tried. Zella did so good this year, a lot of it was old stand-bys, but that’s okay. They know what sells. Also, the Alo sweatshirt is delicious.

5 Favorite Lingerie Buys

A lot of great lingerie staples here. I stocked up on bras, panties, and shapewear.

5 Favorite #NSale Sleep/Loungewear

Some good sleepwear and loungewear staples here too. Again, nothing new really for this year, but all good basics. I picked up a new pair of pajamas, and I’m kind of kicking myself for not buying the UGG slippers.

5 Favorite #NSale Beauty Buys

So happy that the Charlotte Tilbury lip kit is still available! I’m debating the Bobbie Brown palette and the neuLash. I don’t need more Kiel’s lotion right now, as I bought this same size just a few weeks ago at L+T (and paid way more than this sale price, by the way!) but if you are looking for really good body lotion, I highly recommend. Also, if you don’t have a quality hairdryer, I love my T3.

5 Favorite #NSale Purchases

So these are my personal favorite purchases. Most are big ticket items because I feel that’s the best way to make the most of this sale.

The North Face coat is one that I’ve been wanting for a couple of years. My old long puffer is at least 10 years old, so this is a nice upgrade.

I knew I wanted to add one high end sweater to my fall/winter wardrobe, and after trying on so many and not loving any, this Vince rolled edge hooded sweater appeared and made all my sweater dreams come true. It’s the perfect blend of luxe and sporty, the fit is perfection, and it is so so soft.

Unfortunately this Rag & Bone shopper just sold out, but I still wanted to include it because it is definitely my favorite bag purchase. I just love how it’s a little bit edgy and also different than any other bag in my collection. That said, the croc embossed tote was a new discovery this morning, and if I’d seen that first, I may have gone with that instead. It is so elegant and a much better price.

I’ve talked a lot about the Vince Camuto shield sandals already, but if you’re just tuning in, they are so comfortable, such a great wear now-and-layer style, and great quality for the price point. Highly recommend!

Finally, I really didn’t need any new jeans, but I really like the Prima cigarette style — it reads like a straight crop but is so much more flattering than most I’ve tried. Also, the wash is perfection, and they’re soft and comfortable — both features I’ve come to expect from AG. They already look and feel lived in, and I love that. They’re my one #NSale purchase that is coming with me to Maine.

Okay, that’s a wrap! It’s hard to believe, the time I post, it will be from Maine. Have a marvelous Monday!
