Cinco de Mayo is next week, and you know what that means . . . margaritas!
Who says you have to be Mexican to celebrate? Not this girl!
This recipe is quick and easy and DELICIOUS. I love it because I can make it even if I don’t have fresh limes on hand. It uses frozen limeade concentrate instead. Of course, fresh limes do make a nice garnish.
These margaritas are delicious served with my homemade guacamole or these fantastic enchiladas.
You can find these gorgeous margarita glasses online at HSN. They’re part of their island-inspired Margaritaville brand. See more in my post, Because It’s 5:00 Somewhere…

Easy Margaritas
Recipe Type: Drinks
Cuisine: Mexican

These margaritas use frozen limeade for a shortcut, but you will never know the difference!
Ingredients
- 6 oz frozen limeade
- 3/4 cup tequila (Cuervo Gold is my favorite.)
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- lots and lots of ice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and give it a whirl.
- I don’t defrost the limeade so the drink is slushy. If you like your margarita on the rocks, thaw the limeade and use less ice.
- Serve in a salt-rimmed glass and garnish with a slice of lime. Cheers!
Serve with my homemade guacamole or these fantastic enchiladas.
