Hello there! I hope your weekend is treating you well so far. It’s been a while since I’ve done an Instagram Roundup so this post is loooong. Some of these are outfits you’ve already seen on the blog and others I’ve worn for daily life so I’ll give more details about the ones that I didn’t already feature in a dedicated post. Also, there are TONS of sales right now, so I’ll sprinkle sale alerts throughout the post.
This dress is still available at Old Navy and it’s 30% off. For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but I recommend ordering it in a tall if you’re 5’5″ or over. (I’m wearing a regular here.) Several of you said that you order tall sizes in ON dresses, and also to expect this dress to shrink. That said, it’s really cute and comes in several fun prints. More of this outfit in THIS POST.
Also, my bag is 50% off when it’s available. It keeps going in and out of stock — I assume that’s when they get returns.
SALE ALERT >> Extra 30% off your order at Old Navy. Online only. No code needed; discount taken at checkout. Exclusions apply.
This is a fail-proof outfit formula — black top, great-fitting jeans, leopard flats, cognac handbag, fabulous sunnies. Done! Unfortunately this exact sweater sold out, but this one is similar and on sale. Also, these shoes are like slippers. Seriously, I often wear them around the house when I’m home all day.
This is just a simple outfit, but the button sleeve details on the top take it up a notch, and I like the pairing of black and white stripes with burgundy jeans. Also, this top is 40% off. For size reference, I’m wearing the small.
I’ve been wearing this lightweight striped sweater a lot this fall. It’s perfect for these warmish days, and it’s only like $16 after all the discounts are taken. It looks cute paired with girlfriend jeans or skinnies. See more of this look in THIS POST. FYI, I’m wearing a small in this top.
I found this Joie sweater at Nordstrom Rack for almost 70% off. I love this brand but it’s pricey, so I was thrilled to find this so deeply discounted. I really like the shape and the boatneck and the dolman sleeves. It’s easy to wear and it will look so good with burgundy flats or red boots this fall and winter. More of this look in THIS POST. For size reference, I’m wearing the small.
I picked up this sleeveless cowl sweater at the Loft Outlet, so it’s not available online. #sosorry This one is similar.
I love and adore these mules, but they are selling out fast. These are super comfortable and easy to walk in. There are some other colors available as well. I love my ballet flats, but I am really enjoying the edgier modern look of these mules for a change.
I’ve had this drapey dolman tee for a couple of years, and it’s still in stock. I love it to throw on with jeans and a pair of cute shoes. Like all Spendid clothing, it’s super soft and has a great drape. It comes in steel grey, black, and navy. (And once again, here’s my go-to outfit formula in action — black top, jeans, leopard flats. I carried a cognac bag.) For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in this top.
SALE ALERT >> 30% off everything at Splendid with code INTHEFAM. I also love and highly recommend this draped waffle knit thermal cardigan. I have it in the swan and black and I wear them both year-round.
I wore this to meet a friend for coffee. It was a warm day so I wore this poncho over a tank top with jeans and sandals.
This $32 cardigan is one of my favorites so far this fall. This is more of a burnt orange color than the red that’s showing here, and it comes in some other great colors as well. See more of this look in THIS POST.
This is the rest of the outfit with the Joie sweater shown above. The Walking Company sent me these boots to style for the blog. They’re gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. They’re also available in other more neutral colors if red isn’t your jam. I really like the tan. You can see more of this look in THIS POST.
I wore this outfit to church one Sunday. It was really warm that day so I tried to make this summer top look more like fall with cropped jeans and suede slides. Both the jeans and the slides are on sale. These shoes are incredibly soft and comfortable, and they also come in taupe. For size reference, I recommend sizing up one in Paige jeans. I’m wearing the 29, and I wear 28 in AG and other premium brands.
I love love love this sweater. It’s only $39 and it looks much nicer than that, I think. For those who didn’t like how the neck was folding down, I wore this without a necklace last weekend and the neck stayed up just fine. More of this look in THIS POST. For size reference, this is a medium.
I wore this to meet friends for lunch. This was another warm fall day, and I wanted to look cute but not overheat.
Red shoes are a huge trend this fall, and I love wearing red pumps with jeans and a black top. These Cole Haan pumps are incredibly comfortable, and they also come in a classic black suede and a trendy pewter leather.
This pleated sleeve sweater is gorgeous AND 50% off right now with free shipping. It also comes in winter white and blush. I am crushing on that blush, but I already have a few bell sleeve sweaters in that color. Also, these high rise skinny jeans are 25% off. You can see more of this look in THIS POST.
SALE ALERT >> 50% off everything PLUS free shipping at Ann Taylor with code FALLFAST.
Another big fall shoe trend is slouch boots so I ordered these Sole Society booties to try, and I really like them. Sole Society has free shipping on orders over $50 and a live chat feature if you have questions. I really like their boots and booties, and their prices are on the lower end for genuine leather and suede. See more of this look in THIS POST.
I wore this casual outfit to run errands and things last Friday. These booties are probably the most comfortable pair that I own. I can wear them all day long. I just wish they weren’t almost sold out. These are very similar and on sale.
I love the fit of this cuffed ribbed sweater. The neckline and sleeve details are so flattering. It also comes in a pretty silvery grey, and bonus, it’s 40% off! For size reference, I’m wearing the small. See more of this look in THIS POST.
I put this outfit on last weekend to wear to host an event at my house. It suddenly got cold so I changed into the pink dolman sleeve sweater from above. I do like this floral blouse with the black jeans, though. Maybe I’ll wear this to church tomorrow with pumps.
This outfit was on the blog last week. This chenille sweater c/o Social Threads is sooo soft and a great piece to throw on and go. Also, these jeans (and all premium denim at Bloomingdale’s) are 25% off with code FRIENDS. See more of this look HERE.
SALE ALERT >> Take 25% off a great selection of items at Bloomingdale’s with code FRIENDS, and Loyallists get a $25 Reward Card for every $100 you spend on select items. Plus free shipping for everyone.
I wore this outfit to church last week. It’s the same teal sweater I styled for the blog on Thursday but I wore it with different shoes and accessories and a darker black denim for a dressier look. For size reference, I have it in a small.
SALE ALERT >> Extra 30% off sale styles at kate spade new york with code SWEET.
This cardigan is probably one of the most purchased items off my site this fall. It’s really so good and so versatile. It comes in a lot of great colors, but I love this burnt orange. Again, it seems to photograph more red, but it is really a great shade of orange for fall. And these AG skinnies are 25% off at Bloomingdale’s along with the rest of their premium denim.
Loving these slip-on sneakers for my more casual outfits and they’re 40% off.
I wore this one day to the mall and to run some errands. It was quite warm but I wanted to wear fall clothes so I wore a short-sleeve tee under this cashmere open poncho. I love the combination of burgundy flats with the tan/blush poncho.
Oh, and this poncho FINALLY went on sale. It is 40% off this weekend, bringing it down to $77. Still a bit of an investment, but it’s great quality and super soft. For size reference, I have the XS/S. You can see it styled over a long-sleeve tee with burgundy jeans in THIS POST.
Whew! We made it! (Did you make it?) LOL!!!
Today’s a busy one. We’re planning to photograph a few outfits this morning and then later today Paul and I are both volunteering for a few hours at an event at the high school. After that, we’ll get to see our marching band perform. (My son plays tenor drum.) It will be a late night, and I’ve been up since 5am, so I’m hoping to slip a nap in somewhere today. #hereshoping
Have a great Saturday!
