Nordstrom Finds: What’s New This Month

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a Nordstrom Finds post, so I thought I’d round up a bunch of new fall styles that caught my eye this month.

one // two // three // four // five // six //seven // eight // nine // ten // eleven // twelve // thirteen // fourteen // fifteen

A bunch of these are on order, and a few are already in my closet, so most will be featured on the blog or in a Try-On Haul very soon. I had hoped to have one ready for today, but I’m still recovering from that crazy virus I came down with two weeks ago, and I need a few more days on that.

  1. I look forward to your posts, and the escape from what is going on in the world, every day. I love the fall fashions this year. They seem cozy yet mature and stylish. Thanks for the joy.

  2. Thank you for the distraction. It’s been a heavy week for sure and to add to it my Aunt passed away. But, on a happy note, I just found out that one of my daughters and my sons wife are pregnant with their 2 nd both due in June one day apart. Lol. How does that happen? My other 3 grandkids have April, May, and August bdays so it’s going to be a busy Spring next year for gifts. Fun times to look forward too. My other grands are 2,3 and 4 yrs old so we are all excited to have newborns again. Lots of good items in this post. I might need to make an order. Thanks for all your work. I hope you get your strength back soon.

  3. I noticed in your Q & A someone enquired about skinnies. I know some still love their skinnies and find straight, flare, wide leg too wide. It is an adjustment. I now love my straight legs but I’ve also bought some slim legs as a more dressier pant, as well. Some jeans come in a slim leg. Slim leg might be a baby step for those that can’t get on the wider leg pant. I just thought I would put that out there.
I hope you feel better soon. This virus going around sure hangs on!

    1. I just bought the Madewell mid-rise stovepipe jeans recently (Jo-Lynne had them on somewhere on the blog, but I have no idea where) and they basically fit like a skinny jean in my opinion, even though technically a straight leg. Kendi also pointed this out on her blog. Might be good for those who are still hanging onto skinnies. Although I’ve personally really enjoyed experimenting with other silhouettes.

  4. Thank for your sensitivity to what is happening in our world today. I follow quite a few bloggers and you are the only one with the decency to mention it. Thank you 💖

  5. I appreciate your nod to world events but I agree with others, in that I appreciate what you do and the break from the news cycle. Your Saturday emails might be my favorite of the week with the Q&A and all the weekend sales. Though probably also the most dangerous for my wallet, between the sales and the roundups you do for Q&A lol. I hope you feel better soon!

  6. Those girlfriend style cords also come in a pearl that looks like it’ll be a pretty winter white option this winter. I like the idea of winter white pants in a heavier fabric. Have you purchased this particular style? I’m curious if it’s more of a straight or skinny when not rolled up.

  7. Is black denim still trending this fall/winter? I finally decided to splurge on a pair of Mother “Hustlers” in Not Guilty. I love the fit but am not seeing much black denim on your blog or anywhere.

  8. I always look forward to your blog Jo-Lynne and enjoy it very much. Please keep doing what you’re doing. We all need a break from the news and what’s happening in the world today.

  9. I bought the Caslon striped sweater (#8) last month when shopping in store with a friend. It’s really cute and soft …..can’t wait to have cooler weather to wear it. 😊
The world’s events are definitely upside-down and heartbreaking. I woke up one morning this week and just started crying. I thank God every day for my blessings and to be able to live the way I do. 🙏❤️ Thanks for your mention of current events in a thoughtful way. We’re all feeling the weight of it as well.
