Are you done Christmas shopping? Me either.
I am pretty well set with the major presents (I think . . . Santa has made his her list, but she still needs to check it twice) but I haven’t even STARTED thinking about stocking stuffers yet, and I do have some presents for the nieces and nephews still to buy.
I hate fighting the crowds at the mall this time of year so I’m heading out to my neighborhood CVS this afternoon to finish up.
You might not think of CVS for Christmas presents, but they actually have a huge assortment of gift possibilities. When I attended a media event with CVS back in the fall, they threw a holiday party where we actually got to participate in a White Elephant gift exchange (or Yankee Swap . . . depending on what portion of the country you hail from!) It was super fun, and I was introduced to a ton of great products that I either never noticed or hadn’t thought of as gift potential.
I have always used CVS as a great place to go for last minute stocking stuffers, but now I will be shopping for regular gifts there as well!
For instance, this adorable old fashioned style telephone.
It caught my eye when I walked into the room, and I ended up taking it home. SO excited.
It sits on my bedside table and it is perfect there.
Another hot gift item that traded hands many times was this Mickey Mouse waffle iron. SO CUTE.
I really wanted that, but alas, it got “stolen” from me. Boo to the hoo.
