Greetings on this Christmas morning! We’re just sitting around, waiting for the kids to wake up, so I thought I’d hop on and share our Christmas card with you.
And I just want to say that I’m so grateful to you for being here, for supporting my business, and for making this such a fun, encouraging community. I laugh every time I hear or read someone say, “Blogs are dead.” I always want to reply, “Not mine!”
All that to say, I know how blessed I am to have you all here, and I realize I could not do this without you
We met up with some of Paul’s family for their annual Christmas Eve sushi dinner after church yesterday, which was fun… and delicious! Then we came back home and made Christmas cookies and watched National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, as per our tradition!
And now, we wait for the kids to wake up so we can have our presents and Caroline’s delicious homemade cinnamon rolls.
I hope all who are celebrating today have a wonderful time with your family and friends. Joy to the Word, the Lord is Come! Let Earth receive her King!

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family! My life has definitely been and continues to be enriched thanks to your blog and the great group of ladies, that are all now true Friends. I got up at 9:38 and the guys were already up, so they’re waiting on me to open presents.
We had Christmas Eve dinner after church last night at our eldest’s son’s home. He and his brother are due at our home shortly for brunch and gifts!

Merry, merry! Our daughter also made cinnamon rolls, sausage balls, baked french toast casserole, ham, and I brought a fresh fruit salad. It was so much fun watching the boys open presents from the family (they opened their Santa gifts very early this morning haha!)
