I’m sitting in the Myrtle Beach airport, waiting to board our puddle jumper to Atlanta. We actually planned too much time this morning and have found ourselves killing time here at the airport. I’m going to try to upload some photos from the weekend.
C and me at the bridesmaids brunch.
D posing in front of the get-away car, untucked until the last possible minute.
Our kids, waiting for the wedding to begin.
Me with my handsome brother, a.k.a. the groom.
Our family.
The wedding party – well, half of us, anyway – we’re the ones that count. 😉
R was intrigued with my flowers.
Future bride?
The bride with her flower girl and ring bearer.
The bride and groom toast their new life together.
The bride’s best friend made the wedding cake. Isn’t it gorgeous? It was delicious too – pound cake, YUM!
Let the dancing commence!
And that’s a wrap! I wish I could say that it’s time to board, but unfortunately our flight has been delayed an hour. Which means that catching our connecting flight is going to be dicey. Oh the joys of modern air travel!
beautiful pictures…wow…looks like a great day….

What a beautiful wedding! I love the bridesmaid dress you wore–boy, have those come a LONG way since I was last in a wedding! I cringe to even think what I made my bridesmaids wear! Thought it was so sleek and stylish at the time….

Your family is good-looking. Why wasn’t there anyone posing with a cigarette up their nose, like there would be in my family?
I love the bride’s dress and veil, and that cake!
Don’t you love weddings?
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing them!
Oh what a beautiful family — I love the bridesmaid dress – so elegant.
Those are beautiful bridesmaid dresses, you look great! And you have such a nice looking family.
I love these comments — I have had at least 3 nightmares about the bridesmaids’ dresses since the wedding and it makes me so happy to hear that people like them! And you did look gaw-geous in yours! Hey, does someone else’s family have a friend with a cigarette up their nose??? Ha ha ha I have to hear the retelling of that unfortunate story.
PS, the pic of Caroline with the orchid falling out of her hair makes me laugh. Thanks for thinking to bring a bow.
