These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

Happy Monday, friends! I’m continuing with holiday gift guides today, and this is a roundup of some of my favorite things. These are items I have and love and use all the time, and many I’ve had for years.

Some are repeats from previous Favorite Things lists because I tend to be very loyal to products I love, but I’ve got a bunch of more recent finds in here, as well. Any of these would make a great gift for the right person, or perhaps you’re looking for something to add to your holiday wish list!

Fashion & Style

MOTHER

Weekender Flares

I included my raw hem pair on last year's list, and I recently discovered this pair with the finished hem in the Teaming Up wash. These jeans give you legs for days, and they can be easily dressed up or down. If I could only keep one pair of jeans in my closet, it would be this pair.

HOBO

Small Render Crossbody

This is the perfect medium-sized bag for everyday, and the one I've been reaching for most lately. It has lots of pockets for organization, plus, the glazed leather is so pretty and also holds up well to wear and tear, and the caramel color is super versatile. It goes with almost everything.

Tom Ford

Square Sunglasses

These chic square sunglasses are super lightweight and comfortable, and they look great on. I have a few pairs, but if I had to pick just one, I'd keep these.

Jenni Kayne

Flynn Cashmere Sweater

I was going to list the Jenni Kayne cashmere fisherman sweater, but I just received this new Flynn style, and it's immediately my new favorite. It's the ultimate in softness, with such a great easy fit and flattering v-neck. I can already tell I'm doing to want another.

Athleta

Pranayama Restore Wrap

My favorite comfy topper for travel and athleisure looks, and I usually wear one over my pajamas in the mornings. I appreciate the sleeve length with thumbholes, and it washes and wears well without shrinking.

Adidas

Handball Spezial “Earth Strata Gum” Sneakers

The newest addition to my sneaker wardrobe, these have become a fast favorite this fall. The brown suede is a nice way to update my everyday looks, and the low profile sneaker goes well with any denim silhouette.

Soma

Short Robe

I love this lightweight robe, and as you can tell from the photo, I've had it for years... at least before I got extensions and remodeled the bathroom, lol!!! It's made of Soma's amazing Cool Nights fabric, and I love the short length and the way the tie belt is attached in the back so it doesn't slide out. I usually wear this after my shower while I'm doing my makeup in the mornings.

LAGOS

Two-Tone X Beaded Ring

My favorite right hand ring, it has gold and silver metal so it goes with everything, and it can be dressy or casual. When I travel, it's usually the only one I bring. I love the beaded motif and the fun crossover design.

Beauty

Yves Saint Laurent

Libre Eau de Parfum Spray Fragrance

I've never met a YSL product that I don't love, and this fragrance is no exception. It doesn't hurt that it looks beautiful on my dresser, but I also really enjoy the scent.

Urban Decay

All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

I love how this spray sets my makeup and keeps it looking fresh and dewy all day. It also has a pleasant scent. I keep a full size at home and a mini size in my travel bag.

Perricone MD

No Makeup Eyeshadow

I love this “no makeup eye shadow” for days when I want to look more natural. It evens out the uneven skin tone on my eyelids and give them a nice glow.

Dyson

Supersonic Hair Dryer

This hair dryer dries my hair faster than any other I’ve tried, which matters a lot more now that I have extensions. If you have thick hair, you will really notice the difference. It also uses less heat, and it makes my hair look and feel smoother and bouncier and overall healthier than it has in years.

RevitaLash

RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner

I credit my long, luscious lashes to the consistent use of this eyelash grown serum. When I get lax, my eyelashes get really sparse, but as long as I use it a few times a week, they stay long and full.

Isdin Photo

Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50+

My favorite facial sunscreen, this was recommended by my dermatologist. It's super lightweight and blends into the skin so easily, plus it has anti-aging properties and collagen support to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also has a light tint that helps even out the skin tone.

tarte

Tartelette Tubing Mascara

My favorite mascara, this tubing mascara has clean ingredients, and I love how it lengthens and thickens and separates my lashes.

tarte

Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm

My go-to lip balm/lip gloss. I have multiples of these in various colors, and they're all good. They make my lips feel soft and moist and not sticky, and supposedly it has some lip plumping qualities.

Tech + Travel

FunTouch

Rechargeable Travel Makeup Mirror

I bring this mirror every time I travel because it makes applying makeup so much easier when the lighting is less than ideal in hotel rooms and Airbnbs. It also allows me to do my makeup in the bedroom, if someone else needs the shared bathroom.

Amazon

Portable Charger Built-in Cables and AC Wall Plug

We love these portable wall chargers with the built-in Micro cable, USB C cable, and iPhone charging cable, as well as a USB port, and USB C port. It also has a built-in wall plug that charges the power bank itself directly from the wall outlet. But the best part is, it charges quickly and lasts for many hours.

Apple

AirPods Pro

I use my AirPods every single day, and upgrading to the Pro version last year was a total game-changer. The noise-cancelling and adaptive transparency modes are incredible—you can block out distractions or stay aware of your surroundings with ease. They’re especially a lifesaver for airplane travel, making long flights so much more enjoyable. Plus, you can switch off those features anytime to use them like regular earbuds. Versatile, comfortable, and packed with amazing features—they’re worth every penny!

AWAY

The Bigger Carry-On

I've been a huge fan of Away luggage for a while, but this Bigger Carry-On is my newest addition, and it has helped me travel Carry On Only for longer periods of time. I don't know how they do it, but it holds so much. Plus, it looks chic and it rolls so easily through the airport, and it fits in the overhead bin on most airplanes. I absolutely love it.

ZTUJO

Felt Purse Organizer Insert

This insert gives structure to my tote bags, protects my laptop and other devices, and keeps everything organized. I keep one in my Neverful MM and one in my Goyard GM, but they have a bunch of different sizes for different bags.

Home & Kitchen

Amazon

Diamond Dazzle Stiks

I’m always horrified when people say that they never clean their fine jewelry. For what your husband paid for that gorgeous diamond ring, don’t you owe it to him to keep it sparkling at all times!? I try to clean mine at least once a week, and I love these pencil sized jewelry cleaners. I keep one at home in my bathroom vanity and one in my travel bag, and I usually have another one or two floating around somewhere. It makes cleaning my rings so easy because the brush head dispenses jewelry cleaner solution as needed.

Wusthof

7″ Santoku Knife

If I had only one knife in my kitchen, it would be this one.  I used to hate any recipe that required chopping until I got my Santoku, and now I chop any vegetable I can get my hands on.  And if I'm hormonal, you better stay out of my way.  This baby could be a serious weapon.

S’well

Stainless Steel Water Bottle

I love my S’well water bottles. I’ve tried many over the years, and I always come back to these. Such a nice size for fitting in the car cupholder, no annoying straws or flip lids to futz with, easy to drink out of, and keeps my water cold for hours. I never leave home without one.

Nordstrom

Bliss Throw Blanket

This is one of those items that has been on almost all of my Favorite Things lists through the years because it's pretty much the perfect throw. It's so velvety soft, it comes in tons of colors, and it doesn't "shed" on the furniture. There is one on every couch in my house, and each kid has one too, plus it makes a great gift.

LUNA

Nutz Over Chocolate Snack Bars

This is totally random, but I have these bars on auto-order from Amazon because I can't stand to be without them. It's my go-to before Pilates and workouts, and I always have one in my bag in case I'm out and about and need a quick meal on the go. They're so tasty, and the ingredients are fairly clean.

So what are a few of your favorite things?  Products you can’t live without?

  1. What are your thoughts on the Away Bigger Carry On compared to the Medium checked bag. I have a 7 day trip planned to Spain and France, weather will be cool, so sweaters are a must.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you for all of your hard work!

    1. It’s hard to say, without experimenting with the same set of clothing, I would have a really hard time going in the carry-on for that long needing any type of sweaters unless you can just re-wear a Few of them in various ways. In my experience, shoes and toiletries take up the most space so if you can really pare those down, you should be able to bring a few sweaters because they really flatten out and compress when you need them to.

  2. Hi Jo-Lynne. What color Jenni Kayne sweater are you wearing? When I followed the link it opened to the new color “shadow”, and now I’m really tempted to order…it looks like a color that would go both with black and brown. I love a V neck sweater so much more than the crew neck.
