*NOTE: For you Philly folks who are experiencing this brief reprieve of mild weather, I wrote this post on Tuesday.
Spring fever is what I’m talking about. It’s been a bitter winter here in Philadelphia — temperatures lingering in the 20s and 30s and regular ice/snowfalls, albeit never more than an inch or two at any given time. I’ve been in hibernation mode. But then last week, we got a glimpse of what is to come. For several days in a row, the temperatures climbed out of the sub-freezing range and shot right up to the low 60s. It was GLORIOUS. The neighborhood came alive. Kids ventured outside to play. Neighbors took their Christmas decorations down. We knew it would be short-lived, but it gave us a taste of springtime.
Suddenly there was a spring in my step and a song in my heart. So what if the song was the latest Hannah Montana offering from my daughter’s toy microphone! Read more at the Philadelphia Moms Blog.

We have been having the same warm weather out here in Utah. It has been wonderful. The kids can play outside and ride bikes again. Today we got snow. You can’t predict the weather this time of year. The warm was nice while it lasted.
Gorgeous photo! I am ready for the spring buds to begin to bloom, too!
