This morning was one of those Sunday mornings when I just didn’t want to go to church. I woke up feeling apathetic and self-indulgent. I didn’t feel like putting on a smile and greeting everyone and making small talk. And I really didn’t feel like sitting still for a 40-minute sermon, trying to keep my...
So are yall having a fun, relaxing holiday weekend? If not, well why not? Go on. Turn off the computer and go enjoy the last official weekend of summer! That’s what we’ve been doing. Yesterday we decided at the last minute to join some friends at their campground. The kids were in heaven splashing in...
I memorized Psalm 100 as a child. It is one of the few chapters of the Bible that I can quote from memory to this day, and it’s always been a favorite. Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!...
WOW! That is some serious exercise dedication! Good for you.
Good luck!!!! To both of you!!!!
*lol* That’s the mommy’s eternal situation, always worrying. My kids are going back to school next week and I’m a nervous wrack. I haven’t even prepared their back packs yet, due to the makeover we’re doing at home.
Is your son in first grade? My sons are in 3rd and 4th. My youngest son gets a new teacher this year, and we’re both a bit nervous.
God bless!
I do the same thing… and matthew just went into the 5th grade and Samara in the 3rd… it’s exciting!
Aw. You is a good Mommy, yes you is. Pat pat pat. Hope it all went wonderfully for the little man! (And his Mama.)
Yup! It’s always more us than them. Mine started last week so we’re over that. He’s sitting here watching Little Einsteins asking every 5 minutes if it’s time for school yet. And seeing as how we’ve been up since 5:30, I’m getting tired of that question, LOL.
Good luck!
I had an acting teacher in high school who would always tell us, “I like to hear that you are nervous, because that means you care.”
Never is that more true than a Nervous Mama on the first day of school!
I hear you! For the past two years I have think I have been more nervous for Dyl than he has. Between his first day and my first day…I have so many butterflies! I hope the first day went well and I can’t wait to hear about it! Good luck with preschool tomorrow. I am glad to hear that orientation went so well.
