Guess who I saw last night? Betcha can’t guess.
Okay, I’ll give you a hint. He’s The Boss.
Still in the dark?
Okay, here’s a picture.
Don’t EVEN tell me you don’t know who this is. I don’t want to hear it. Losers. (Not that we’re die-hard fans or anything.)
So last night we went to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Here’s another picture. (No, these aren’t from my camera. I can only WISH I’d been that close.)
And here’s a little recap of the show for the two of you who might actually care.
This wasn’t the best Bruce concert we’ve ever attended (don’t you like
how I talk about him like we’re on a first name basis?) because the sound system was wonky, which was frustrating, but we had a good time anyway.
And I wore my funky new t-shirt! See?
Thanks for your votes of confidence yesterday. I wasn’t sure about it until I started getting all of your positive comments. Husband likes it too, so it’s definitely a keeper. (I got it at the Lucky Brand Jeans store, for those who have asked.)
So that’s my fun for the weekend. Now it’s back to being the DIY Widow while Hubs works on the never-ending basement project.
You look so cute!
how wonderful! Bruce would be an amazing show even with a bad sound system!
We heard a couple of the new songs last night, but I don’t have the album. I need to remedy that. Off to iTunes I go . . .
🙂
Aw, I’m a little jealous. I don’t really have a rock star or group that I would remember from my youth like that. I never got into the 90’s grunge scene. That stuff wasn’t music, it was just racket!!
Anyways, you look awesome in the shirt! Love that shirt. I like the store Lucky too.
As for frizz factor… I sure wish I had a suggestion or something for you. I’ve never had to deal with frizz. The only thing I can think of is frizzy hair probably needs MORE moisture in a conditioner.
That shirt looks fabulous on you! I almost want to head on over to the Lucky store and by myself one.
This is a weird question – what is it made of (materials)? I’m so particular about the fit of my tees. See: http://metropolitanmama.blogspot.com.
Glad you had fun! Have you listened to his new album yet?? I haven’t heard it and was wondering how it was.
remind me again who is this old guy you call boss???? SNORT ;P
Glad you had fun. How were the seats?
Hey, if you’re looking for mullets, I got a whole video over on my site. It’s quite disgusting, so watch at your own risk!
Glad you had a good time. Hope the sound works better next time.
Lucky dog…and you looked great!
Did y’all drive in a Pink Cadillac???
Love the funky shirt! You so totally could have gotten up on stage to dance with him ala Courtney Cox!!
Found your blog on Everyday Mom’s site.
The concert looks like tons of fun! My husband wanted to go so badly but couldn’t. (MFA—studying hard!)
Love your shirt-cute!
The shirt looks great! I would go to a Bruce Springsteen show any day. And, um…I love the word wonky. Cracked me up!
We’re not huge fans of The Boss, but I would see him live given the chance. What a fun night for you guys. And the shirt looks great!
