This has been quite a week! I’m excited to share a few snippets from Instagram.
I wore this outfit to church last Sunday. I knew I wanted to wear the dress, but I was going to try one of my plaid scarves. I ended up rushing to get out the door, so I grabbed this port-colored fringe scarf because I knew it was easy to style. I ended up really liking this outfit! I also wore my new black over-the-knee boots.
Outfit Details: Cozystitch Sweater Dress (sold out) | Michael Kors Joanie Boots | Fringe Infinity Scarf | Marc Jacobs Q Fran Satchel
I was feeling a bit under the weather that afternoon so I snuggled up in bed with tea and a novel.
On Monday, I gave myself a “grace day” and didn’t bother to do my hair or makeup. I threw on this comfy sweatshirt with jeans and UGGs and spent most of the day working at my computer.
Later that day, I posted this collage to direct everyone to my blog post with the outfit details.
Outfit Details: BP. Geo Block Print Scarf | Cable Turtleneck | DL1961 Emma skinnies | similar OTK boots (budget option: Jessica Simpson Ference) Tory Burch Britten Slouchy Tote | D Yurman Belmont Curb Link Ring | similar tassel necklace | assorted Alex and Ani bangles
I was feeling better on Tuesday, so I decided to hit up LOFT. I wore this black tunic with white jeans. I love the unexpected white jeans this time of year. This black tunic is from the juniors department, but I still bought my regular size medium. It’s $42 and thin but super soft. And yes, those are my black boots again!
Outfit Details: Split Hem Tunic | white jeans | OTK boots | Dalton Pendant Necklace | Artisan Stretch Bracelets
I posted this to share about the LOFT 40% off sale. These utility pants are so cute. The black and white top is from LeTote, and those are my Felicia Flats. (LOVE!!)
I posted this winter panzanella salad recipe on Thursday. I brought back my good friend and former food contributor, Colleen, to crate this decadent winter salad featuring Udi’s Gluten Free Bread.
I’m excited about my new venture with Rodan + Fields. I posted this picture of my current skincare regimen. I’ll be sharing more in the weeks to come. Meanwhile, if you’re wondering what products are right for you, you can use their Solution Tool.
I posted this teaser to Thursday’s outfit post. In reality, I spent the day in sweatpants. Ha!
Outfit Details: Halogen® Crewneck Cashmere Sweater | similar black jeans | Michael Kors Joanie knee-high boots | R Minkoff Mini M.A.C. | necklace via LeTote | D Yurman Link Ring
The new spring line for Stella & Dot is here. I’ll be sharing more about spring accessory trends in a future post, but here’s what I ordered. Click here to visit my online boutique.
These are travel outfit selfies I took on Friday morning before I left for Nashville. Cyndi and I have had such a blast getting to know each other better and working on a secret project. (More info to come!!)
Outfit Details: similar pink sweater | skinny jeans | OTK boots | similar peacoat | plaid scarf | 21-inch carry-on (I was so proud of myself for doing a carry on!!!)
This is the view from our hotel room. It’s been a chilly, grey weekend, but it didn’t prevent us from having fun!
We snapped this selfie while we were hanging out on Broadway on Friday night. We slipped into one of the honkey-tonk bars for some live music before heading up to Puckett’s for dinner.
This is the outfit I wore yesterday. Same jeans, boots, and coat. I changed my pink v-neck for a pink turtleneck. The crossbody I’m carrying is old. I like this sweater best with a coat or vest over it, but I didn’t want to pack my bulky quilted vest for this short trip so I wore it on its own. The New Moon Necklace is a new Stella & Dot piece. I love it because it’s nice and light, and you can wear it with the pave in front or turned to the back so it’s all gold.
I posted this snap of my view while were working at a nearby Starbucks.
The Stage is the honkey tonk bar we visited on Friday night. Last night, we spent a few hours of retail therapy at Nordstrom after a hard day’s work and then enjoyed a laid-back dinner in our hotel’s lounge before turning in early. What can I say? We’re a pair of grannies.
This morning, I’m up bright and early so I can get back to Philly in time to host our prayer group for dinner tonight. There’s no rest for the weary! Ha!
If you liked this post, be sure to follow me on Instagram. It’s my favorite social media platform. Have a great Sunday!

Looks like you had a really great weekend!!
Look at you livin it up in my hometown! Hope you enjoyed it!
We had a blast!
I really enjoy the Insta-recaps. I don’t use Instagram (I don’t have time to sign up and learn to use one more type of social media.
My kids say I’m old school but I am touched with a bit of Type A personality or perhaps a little OCD and like with Facebook I spend too much time feeling I need to check it at night just to get “caught up”. I hate to admit it but it’s one of the things on my mental check list for the day. I said all that to say, thanks for the recap and saving me the trouble of another social media attempt. Ha!
LOL! So glad I can save you from another time suck. 🙂
Remember the names of the performers you heard Friday night, in case they become famous one day. You’ll be able to say, I heard them when…
Safe travels back to PA!
God bless!
Jo Lynne,
You have such energy and enthusiasm! I love reading what you are up to. I follow Cyndi as well. I’m sure you two had a blast and came up with some good stuff! I will be retiring from teaching this year and hope to join the blog world.
Blessings,
Kelly
That’s exciting! Let us know when you start your blog so we can be your first visitors. 🙂
I saw you wearing the Halogen Cashmere sweater had to get it too! Such a great deal 🙂 It’s so fun and I love the detail of the split hem line. Now you’ve got me eyeballing those green pants at Loft! Enjoy your trip!
So glad you like it!
Love you & Cyndi!
Love your site and all that you share. Keep it up! : )
Looks like a busy week & a great weekend. 🙂
Francine Rivers is the best.I love her novels! I am glad to hear you and Cyndi had a wonderful time.
Jo-Lynne, just found your blog about a month ago. I really like it. I’m a stay at home mom of 4 & I often lose sight of myself. Yoga pants & T-shirts are my constant go to’s. You’ve really helped me. I’m ordering the black over the knee boots you have & I just received the Tom wedge booties you recommended. Your outfits are so practical & you look so put together. Keep up the good work. May God continue to use you!
Thanks, Jeri!!! That’s so nice to hear! Enjoy your new boots. 🙂
Can’t wait to see what you and Cyndi have up your collective sleeves. How fun that you guys are working together on another project. Nashville looks grayer and colder than I remember it. Your pretty sweatery tops brightened things up, for sure. Thank you for sending the answers to the blog interview. Will be working on that this weekend.
