I memorized Psalm 100 as a child. It is one of the few chapters of the Bible that I can quote from memory to this day, and it’s always been a favorite.
Psalm 100
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!
Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.
Those early 100’s in the Psalms are awesome. And in case anyone needs a reminder of all the reasons we have to praise God, check out Psalm 103.
Lovely! We are in the process of memorizing Psalm 1 as a family, and it has been such a blessing. It is so neat to hear each of us quote the scripture and know that we’re hiding God’s Word not only in our hearts- but in our children’s hearts- in a way that I hope will be evident later in their lives as Psalm 100 is in yours!
Sorry for rambling- but it’s such a blessing to memorize scripture!

He IS good!
Psalm 100 was the verse we studied in homeschool this week! Great verse!!!
I love hearing or reading scripture that I haven’t visited in a while. To me it feels like finding a long, lost friend.
I’m also a bit embarrassed to realize that much of what I memorized as a child, I’ve forgotten in my older years. Maybe I need to add scripture re-memorization to my To Do List.
This is a awesome Scripture! As a worship leader, i read this any time I’m lacking inspiration. Who could not praise Him after reading this!
